We can get in relatively fast and it regulates the place which was sometimes a bit chaotic. It also has another virtue as it is now; it pushes away curbsiders and pickpockets a little bit further. It allows the forecourt to be a safe space where we can come for free and take pictures under the Eiffel Tower, with no problem, but after a safety check." Protesters marched to parliament in London on Saturday, demanding that the UK government ceases to carry out cuts to the National Health Service (NHS). Chanting "no ifs no buts, no NHS cuts", the protesters demonstrated outside the parliament building, with one group carrying a fake coffin depicting the NHS logo, and others holding up banners or placards stating their cause. The protesters are concerned that the UK government under Prime Minister Theresa May intends to fragment the NHS "in order to sell it off". While May assured the NHS would continue to be free at the point of delivery, she did not rule out that it could be part of a trade deal with the United States in the future. Health Campaigns Together (HCT) is preparing for a large protest to be held in London on March 4, saying the NHS has reached "breaking point".
