The foreign ministers of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala will meet in Mexico next week to discuss immigration policy responses to Donald Trump's U.S. presidency, the Honduran ambassador to Mexico said on Wednesday. Central American ministers want to open lines of communication with Mexico's Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray to discuss problems with migration and the flow of Central Americans, Alden Rivera said in an interview. “It's a first point of contact ... we don't expect to have an answer,” Rivera said. Mexico reaction will set tone The meeting between Videgaray and the three Central Americans will take place in Mexico City, Rivera said. Mexico’s foreign ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Rivera said his main concern was a change in U.S. immigration policy and how Mexico reacts to that, which would have an impact on Central America.

by Sarah Weldon Well, there you have it: Chris Miller, the co-director of the new Han Solo-centered Star Wars spin-off, has thrown his answer in the ring regarding George Lucas's controversial and oft-debated edits to the 1997 re-release of A New Hope: Han First Shot pic.twitter.com/KReR6rgKFTChris Miller (@chrizmillr) January 30, 2017 Okay, okay: It's probably just a pun to mark the first day of shooting on the spin-off film. But come on, of course Han shot first . The Solo-centric film is set to be released next year, with Hail Caesar! star Alden Ehrenreich front and center as a young Solo and Atlanta 's Donald Glover taking on the role of Lando Calrissian. Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke are also involved in the project. Phil Lord will direct alongside Miller; the two have worked together on 21 Jump Street , The LEGO Movie , and their respective sequels. And no, the title of the new film is not Star Wars: Red Cup . The film is still officially nameless —though it is certainly not pun-less .

British actor Jack Huston's grandfather, the legendary filmmaker John Huston, once had a movie about psychological trauma among soldiers banned because of its anti-war message. The double Oscar-winner reacted furiously when "Let There Be Light" was confiscated by US military police, saying he'd expect "someone to take me outside and shoot me" if he ever made a pro-war film, according to his 34-year-old grandson. "That sentiment stands today. I never really had any interest in making a war movie because I found a lot of instances where they glorified war," the younger Huston tells AFP. The actor nevertheless finds himself this year as one of the stars alongside Jennifer Aniston and Alden Ehrenreich in The Yellow Birds," a movie about the terrors of fighting in Iraq. "This movie doesn't glorify war. It's very honest," Huston tells AFP ahead of its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday.

Alexandre Moors ( Blue Caprice ) returns to Sundance this year with The Yellow Birds , based on the Kevin Powers novel about young soldiers at war, the effect it has on them when they return home, and the questions they face when one of their number doesn't return. Alden Ehrenreich plays Brandon Bartle, tasked by his Staff Sergeant ( Jack Huston ) to look after Murph ( Tye Sheridan ), who is far from ready for the traumas of the front lines. Ehrenreich skipped the festival, but...

President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn into office Friday on an economic sugar rush. The markets have soared since his election, and companies are falling over themselves to curry his favor by announcing new plans to expand in the United States. I will be the greatest jobs producer that God ever created, he said at press conference last week. Trump is particularly fond of manufacturing investment and jobs, having launched a running Twitter war with large manufacturers, including Ford, General Motors and Toyota, to pressure them into expanding investment in the U.S. rather than Mexico. Trump has made it very clear what he wants for the American economy: more investment and more jobs. The goal is a laudable one and one that helped him carry voters in the Rust Belt states that decided the election. Over the last two decades, the U.

ACTOR Woody Harrelson will be heading to a galaxy far, far away for his next movie, playing a role in the second anthology Star Wars film focused on a young Han Solo. Lucasfilm said Wednesday in a statement that the 55-year-old Oscar-nominated actor will join Alden Ehrenreich, who will play the younger version of the smuggler and space pirate Han Solo. The cast will also include Donald Glover, as a young Lando Calrissian, and Emilia Clarke, of Game of Thrones, in an undisclosed role. "We couldn't be more excited to work with an artist with as much depth and range as Woody," said Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, directors of the film due out for release next year. "His ability to find both humor and pathos, often in the same role, is truly unique. He is also very good at ping pong." The Hunger Games actor told Mashable in a Facebook Live that he would be playing a "mentor to Han, but I'm also a bit of a criminal".
