By his own lights, how well is he doing? He thinks he's doing quite well. He would. Yes. It's huge, it's disorientating for the Republicans and Congress, but he has worked very hard on the things I think he cares about, which are mostly domestic issues, and he's trying to check off some of the promises he's made during the campaign, like the Mexican War, whether that gets built or not I don't know, but he's trying to move forward with it.

In Ireland, 46,000 people were left without power in the wake of the storm, the Irish Mirror reports, and similar disruptions are expected in the UK. As of this morning, the Met Office has issued a dozen amber warnings, affecting parts of northern England, East Anglia, north Wales and the Midlands, with a snow warning for many parts of Scotland, with snowfall of up to six inches in the Highlands. Drivers are advised to avoid some stretches of road in northern England and the Midlands, where strong winds and heavy rain could present particularly challenging driving conditions. Rail passengers should also be prepared for delays and cancellations as a safety speed limit of 50mph is imposed on some services. Travellers flying from Heathrow today are also advised to check the status of their flight. More than a dozen domestic journeys have been cancelled and Irish national airline Aer Lingus has suspended service from the UK in anticipation of strong winds.

Seth Meyers took aim at the Trump administrations immigration policies on Wednesday. The Late Night host attacked the presidents proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall , the imminent rewriting of his executive order banning travelers from seven Muslim-majority nations and halting the influx of refugees into the United States and the looming sweeping crackdown on undocumented immigrants. The measures are cruel, unnecessary and ineffective, he said. Even many Republicans think so, Meyers added. He asked lawmakers from both sides of the aisle to come together to do one thing to protest and halt Trumps policies. Those Republicans, and Democrats, should stand up to Trump, Meyers said. Just take a cue from him and say blow me. Check out the full segment above.

KUCHING: Sarawak Immigration Department has arrested 40 individuals who entered the country by manipulating the boarding pass in an operation last week. Immigration director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali said all the 40 foreigners were placed at the immigration detention depot for further investigation. "I don't want to mention the modus operandi in too detail as it is still under investigation. What I can say is this syndicate will buy two boarding passes, one for international travel and another for domestic travel. "They come with an international boarding pass but upon touching down (during check) they are given domestic boarding pass," he said in a media conference in the Sarawak Immigration Department Headquarters, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar here today. Mustafar expressed concern that the action of some syndicate or individuals could caused them to overstay in the country.

So how do you step outside the ordinary and create unique content using what are oftentimes very commonplace topics? Get to Know the Client Always take the time to check out a client’s website before you pick an angle for your article. This is a cardinal rule, and if you break it the angry content gods will send energetic toddlers to your place of work to distract you while you’re trying to make a writing deadline. Why is this so important? If you’ve been asked to write about car accidents for a lawyer and you discuss ways to seek compensation for damages following a collision, your article wont be relevant to a car accident defense attorney or his or her clients. It’s not enough to typecast clients into a general industry and assume that your article will apply. Check out their “About Ussection, learn about what makes them unique, and then create interesting articles based off of what you learned.

This will be a more streamlined way for the company to focus in on things like Moments as Explore touts a more predominant header to feature such functions. The restructuring comes on the heel of Twitter’s slowest revenue growth in three years , leaving many to speculate if this is one of the company’s last ditch efforts to save itself; much like it did with removing media attachments as part of the character count .

Mid-term elections often serve as a referendum on the president and Democrats are baying to retake 24 seats and control of the House of Representatives, which would put a serious check on Trump's agenda. Against that backdrop, Republicans may be stuck between an unpopular president and public opprobrium. Congressional Republicans privately fret that opposing Trump could invite angry tweets, a grassroots firestorm and perhaps even a Trumpite challenger in the next party primary. They may have reason to worry. A Pew Research poll released Wednesday showed rank-and-file Republicans are still likely to back Trump in an argument with party lawmakers. "About half of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents (52%) say that if Trump and Republican congressional leaders disagree on an issue, they would be more likely to trust Trump," Pew said. "About a third (34%) say they would trust GOP leaders if they have a disagreement with the president." — AFP

Volvo is working hard to revamp its entire lineup, and that began with the introduction of the 2016 XC90. Along with the debut of this SUV came plans to create a fuller line of SUVs that will include the XC90, XC60 and the XC40. We’ve seen the XC40 out testing in a jacked-up version of the V40 wagon, which is not available in the U.S. as of February, 2015. Now new reports from Autocar are pointing toward the raised wagon arriving by 2019. With the new XC40, the upcoming XC60 and the 2016 XC90, Volvo will finally have an SUV lineup that can compete with the likes of Mercedes, Audi and BMW in all of the key niches. The only issue is whether or not there are really that many people who are interested in buying a Volvo for this SUV expansion to really be worth it. Updated 02/22/2017: Our spy photographers caught the upcoming XC40 out for a new testing session, this time during cold winter conditions somewhere in Sweeden. Continue reading to check out my preview of the 2020 Volvo XC40.
