Two months after teasing a mysterious new handset , high-profile startup Essential could just be days away from unveiling its debut phone. Founded by Android co-founder Andy Rubin, Essential has let loose its first tweet on its official Twitter page , announcing that "something big" is expected to go down this coming Tuesday, May 30. Rubin was originally reported back in January to be designing a new, high-end smartphone that featured a ceramic back, edge-to-edge display, and the ability to tack on new hardware via the handset's charge port not unlike Motorola's clip-on Moto Mod upgrades. Since then, Rubin teased an image of what appears to be a bezel-less handset while Alphabet executive chairman Eric Schmidt confirmed that the phone Rubin is cooking up runs on Android . This gives us at least two possible details about the mysterious Essential Phone, though we look to learning more hard deets when Essential drops its "big" news next week. But I feel like that I have to kind of go to heart and this kind of correlates with blood pressure ... So just kinda keep that in mind, I have a couple people who kind of came through and acknowledged passing in a bit of a similar sense. It's almost saying like, ‘Keep in mind your own heart.'" Keep in mind, Alan had a clean bill of health and no history of heart disease in his family, so this reading was obviously a little random at the time. Ch-ch-check out E! I predicted two years ago that we would end up with a paramilitary style of policing, and if that is what the public wants, that is what we can provide. The image you had on the screen is the stark potentiality of that. It hasn't happened yet. I am not here to talk about politics, but policing, I am asking every politician to raise the debate, ask what they would like to see from their government, and I think they would like to see more police officers and less military on the streets. We brought in community policing, the community talks to.

Because this bacterium has such an arsenal of enzymes, C. japonicus is able to completely degrade all of the polysaccharides found in plant biomass. Atomic Force Microscopy image of individual Cellvibrio japonicus cells. These bacteria produce many enzymes to break down polysaccharides that they use as an energy source. The whip-like structure at the end of the bacterial (flagellum) cells helps them move around. Jeffrey Gardner, Author provided We are very interested in understanding how this bacterium can detect and then eat different polysaccharides so completely. Three key questions we want to answer are: (1) Why does C. japonicus have hundreds of enzymes to degrade polysaccharides? (2) What specific function does each enzyme perform? and (3) How does the bacterium integrate information about the environment and regulate the production of these enzymes? To answer these questions, we study the bacterium’s physiology, genetics and biochemistry.

You know what they say: this fidget spinner craze isn't over yet until the cookie crumbles. Clearly Cookies , a Dallas based custom cookie company, has created a cookie fidget spinner. It looks exactly like the original toy and it even spins. "He has been asking me to make one for a couple weeks now. I honestly had no idea what they were until I saw him playing with one the other week. Needless to say they are mildly addicting." Rejoice, One Direction fans: former 1D crooner and golf enthusiast Niall Horan has just made the most certain proclamation yet that the blockbuster group will come together again. I told my -managers from the start: When One Direction comes knocking, f what Im doing, he told Billboard in a new cover profile. I dont give a s if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldnt be doing this if it wasnt for that. Horan is currently embarking on his own solo music career. But just because he's taking time to craft his individual, classic-rock-tinged sound and image doesn't mean he's left the boy band days behind although details around just when that reunion may happen remain foggy: When it will be, I dont know. I -prefer not to do it after Im 40. Id prefer the next few years, he said, noting that the 1D boys keep in touch, although they haven't explicitly discussed how long they will stay on their hiatus.

President Donald Trump met with European leaders and attended his first NATO summit in Brussels on Thursday, and boy did he have a great time. While there, Trump shoved Montenegro's Prime Minister Dusko Markovic so that he could get a better spot for a photo opportunity, and he also scolded a bunch of US allies . It was a great time for all the best time and we have the pictures to prove that Trump enjoyed it very much and there were no awkward moments whatsoever. Electric vehicles (EVs) are well on their way to taking control of the road, leaving behind fossil fuel guzzling gasoline-powered cars and trucks. Still, there is a long way to go before the world is prepared to accommodate fleets of clean energy EVs. Perhaps a convenient and affordable stopgap is in order. Instagram DMs just got a whole lot more useful. Instagram has infamously not allowed links in the app for years, except in a user's bio (which led to the "link in bio" phenomenon).
