They actually argued that people with psychological distress should have the same consideration. The fact this was introduced on the same day in the by-election without consultation with the Government's own social security advisory committee, it's going to be enacted in three weeks' time, is an absolute disgrace. The cost though, £3.7 billion over the next few years or so, that money would have to come from somewhere.

This is what Labour's front bench health spokesperson had to say today. This is an absolute scandal, patient safety has been put at risk and NHS bosses are still investigating whether there are still patients at risk as a result of this incompetence. This has happened under Jeremy Hunt's watch. He often goes on about transparency, yet it appears they've tried to cover this up.

And the balance between self interest and empowerment on the one hand with unity and connection on the other hand becomes really important to heal and work out effectively. Keep in mind that Venus Retrograde is not usually a good time to make absolute relationship decisions like getting married or engaged or breaking up. Let those ideas simmer until Venus goes back direct again in April. Then decisions or important events can be experienced. So this week may have importance for relationships, of course romantic but yet any kind of relationship. There is the eclipse on Sunday. There is Mars conjunct Uranus in Aries opposite relationship oriented Jupiter in Libra. And at the end of the week Venus goes retrograde . Keep your center as well as you can and stay grounded. By Tom Engelhardt | (Tomdispatch.com) | Its been epic! A cast of thousands! (Hundreds? Tens ?) A spectacular production that, five weeks after opening on every screen of any sort in America (and possibly the world), shows no sign of ending. What a hit it's been! Its driving people back to newspapers (online, if not in print) and ensuring that our everyday companions, the 24/7 cable news shows, never lack for breaking news or audiences . Its a smash in both the Hollywood and car accident sense of the term, a phenomenon the likes of which weve simply never experienced. Think of Nero fiddling while Rome burned and the cameras rolled. Its proved, in every way, to be a giant leak . A faucet. A spigot. An absolute flood of non-news, quarter-news, half-news, crazed news, fake news, and over-the-top actual news.

And CETA would be an absolute boon to U.S.-based international corporations, because Four out of five US-based corporations with EU operations (41,811) could use CETA to attack the EU and its member states if they structure their investment through Canadian subsidiaries.” CETA wouldnt allow international corporations to sue U.S. taxpayers, because the U.S. wouldnt be a signatory to that particular treaty, but it would still be a huge new profit-center for America’s international corporations (basically like activating Obama’s moribund proposed TTIP treaty through a back door); and, if Trump represents the owners of American-based international corporations more than he represents the American public, he’ll be supporting Canada’s Prime Minister, who likewise represents the owners of international corporations and thus supports CETA.
