Rumors that Nvidia is about to unveil its powerful GTX 1080 Ti graphics card have been swirling, with many suggesting that an event held in San Francisco on February 28 by the GPU maker would see it officially announced and it looks like the company may have accidentally spilled the beans early. In a bid to drum up more hype for the event (if any more was needed), Nvidias UK Twitter account tweeted a link with the words Its almost Time. #UltimateGeForce. As if bolding the 'Ti' in TI ME wasnt enough of a clue, people who visited the website and viewed the page source saw that the video was labelled GTX1080Ti_countdown. This has since been changed, but the cat appears to be out of the bag. So, has Nvidia spoiled its own surprise? Maybe not, as the emphasis on Ti in Time all but confirmed it anyway.

, a lifelong Peoria resident and pastor of New Life Christian Church. Like many locals, Dawson can rattle off a list of relatives whose livelihoods in Peoria have depended on Caterpillar. The company, known as CAT for short, established its first plant in Peoria in 1909 and employs more than 12,000 workers in the area, even after several layoffs. The city of about 110,000 has been trying to breathe more life into its downtown and a scenic stretch along the Illinois River. But while new restaurants, coffee shops and apartments are opening, Ardis acknowledged few people would call the area dynamic. And parts of the city’s core are seeing growing poverty. The headquarters move has been a blow to the city’s collective morale. “There is emotion around” the decision, said Jeff Griffin, president of the Peoria Area Chamber. “Peoria is not unique in that tragedy across the country.

Good news: having a cat in the home does not increase your risk for mental health problems, according to a new study . Cats are host to a parasite called Toxoplasma Gondii. Prior research has suggested that people infected with this parasite are at an increased risk of developing schizophrenia. But after examining this small link, researchers from the University College London don't believe cat ownership directly leads to psychotic symptoms. Researchers followed families for almost 20 years and found that if the parasite does increase mental illness risk, it does not significantly increase exposure. Lead study author Dr. Francesca Solmi, of UCL, said in a statement that her team could not measure parasite exposure directly, but the overall study was done on a larger scale and controlled for factors such as household over-crowding and socioeconomic status.

On a wall in the Noel home hangs a very special piece of art. The painting is an abstract mixture of blues, green, red, yellow, orange, and black. It’s vibrant and compelling, much like the Noels themselves. Lauren , and her youngest son Keegan (age seven), created the painting together. Mother and son recently had an art show entitled Us at The Creative Clubhouse in Cleveland, OH displaying 20 of their collaborations. But the original that hangs on the boysbedroom wall, the very first painting they created together, is not for sale. It remains as a testament to this family’s colorful life and spirit. The Noel family made up of Lauren and her husband Rian, sons Dylan (age eight) and Keegan, and their “fur creatures,” cat Margot Tenenpaw, and dogs Edie and Mowgli recently moved from Florida to Cleveland. Lauren describes the move as an act of faith.

There is some good news for cat lovers. Turns out those reports that people who grew up with cats have a higher risk of mental illness are not true. Writing in the journal Psychological Medicine, researchers from University College London say a common parasite associated with cats, Toxoplasma Gondii, which is associated with mental health issues, does not cause mental issues in people who grew up around cats. Lead author Dr. Francesca Solmi said, "The message for cat owners is clear: there is no evidence that cats pose a risk to children's mental health." She said, "Previous studies reporting links between cat ownership and psychosis simply failed to adequately control for other possible explanations." Solmi said, "In our study, initial unadjusted analyses suggested a small link between cat ownership and psychotic symptoms at age 13, but this turned out to be due to other factors.
