Celebrating it? With the language of oppression? That whole atmosphere was one of a party. And it was a way of being outlandish. Not if you are Jewish, it wasn't a party. There were Jewish people in that room.

It was about girl power in the 90s, thanks to the Spice Girls. Then, Queen Bey, told us that girls run the world in 2011. With such sentiments from well known females in recent history celebrating the modern day woman why is it that equal pay or equal opportunity is still an uphill battle in the ever-expanding tech sales world? More to the point, how is it that in 2017, a worldwide technology provider, such as Oracle Corporation, is being sued by the federal government for allegedly paying white male sales employees more than their none-male or non-white colleagues? In the process, it gets a car wash from E. Honda in Japan, performs a drift with Blanka in Brazil, and does a wheelie with Zangief in Russia, all before ending up in Thailand to face the game’s final boss, M. Bison. With Ryu behind the wheel of the CH-R, the crossover somehow defends itself from M. Bison’s attacks by popping up its hood before shooting off some hadoukens from its headlights to finish off the big baddie. Who knew the CH-R came with that option? It’s an incredible ad that touches on the two things at the core of Japanese culture: cars and video games. It sets up as one of the most memorable we’ve seen this year. And for what it’s worth, that final scene of all the Street Fighter II characters celebrating the CH-R’s win with Ryu polishing it off with a shoryuken uppercut is as fitting a conclusion to a commercial as you can get. It's Oscars time again, and this year, Hollywood will not only be celebrating Hollywood, it will be celebrating a movie that celebrates Hollywood (that would be La La Land , of the 14 nominations). And while we don't know who will win at the 89th Academy Awards, we can predict with some degree of confidence that there will be political speeches ( see: Meryl Streep at the Golden Globes) , there will be Jimmy Kimmel/Matt Damon gags and records will be broken. Here's everything you need to know before tuning in on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Whos hosting? Jimmy Kimmel will host the ceremony for the first time, taking on the duty performed in recent years by Chris Rock, Neil Patrick Harris and Ellen DeGeneres. His attitude toward the whole affair so far has been characteristically nonchalanthe joked on his show that the producers selected him for his physical proximity to the Dolby Theatre and revealed that he was only being paid a measly $15,000 for the gig.

SwiftKey is celebrating a milestone by reaching support for 150 languages. Think that's too many? The Ethnologue says there are more than 7000 languages spoken in the world today, so 150 will seem like a teeny number by comparison, except that it should cover a huge portion of the Earth's population because many of the other languages have less than 1000 native speakers. For a bit of comparison, Google's GBoard seems to be around the same number on my phone, offering a choice of 149 languages and dialects. As Netanyahu knows, the only “one state” that Palestinians are going to “like” — let alone accept — is one in which they are full and equal citizens who get to vote. Demographics dictate that this, in turn, will spell the end of the Jewish stateunless Israel wants to be an undemocratic pariah state ruling over a vast disenfranchised Palestinian population. The piece was the more remarkable because a couple of years ago Cohen wrote a book celebrating Israel as the just answer to the Jewish problem in Europe. Today he is just too tired of Israel's intransigence to pipe that melody. Ilene Cohen made a similar progression years ago: having visited the occupation, she acknowledged that Israel had defeated the two-state solution; and we have entered the struggle for equal rights. 1 State, 1 Person, 1 vote. It seems inevitable that more and more liberal American Zionists will have this realization in weeks and months to come.

A vast improvement there for everyone. Yesterday was Presidents' Day in the US but one notable state wasn't celebrating. In fact, the people of California - where Hillary Clinton won by four million votes in November - are said to be in "open revolt" against Donald Trump. A growing number of activists are campaigning for independence, as our US Correspondent Greg Milam reports.

It's not just the health care. Kuwait's government and politicians have grown more wary of foreigners in other sectors as well in recent years, adopting or promoting a series of policies that target the roughly 3 million expats living and working here. Legislation last April increased the price of electricity and water in all residential buildings, but exempted Kuwaiti nationals. Social media posts and tweets by Kuwaitis and even statements from officials blaming expats for everything - from traffic congestion to the raiding of open buffets by wedding crashers - are becoming all too common. Earlier this month, when Egypt beat Burkina Faso in the first semifinals match of the soccer African Cup of Nations, Kuwait's ministry of interior warned Egyptian expats - one of the largest Arab communities here - against celebrating their team's win with car parades.

(CHEERING) And those were inches away from celebrating moments later. We were just unlucky. Could have easily scored. We can go with our heads held high. Really well. A proud night for the Sutton United fans, but it's Arsenal who can plan for the quarter finals. Manchester City play in the Champions League tonight - they take on Monaco in the last will also all receive no funding.
