So those vulnerabilities, we have identified six core ones that encompass 100% of hacks that have occurred to date. Will's solution is a $199 box that acts as your own personal e-mail server. It will talk to other e-mail services, but where it comes into its own is when it connects directly to another Nomx box at the other end, the pair of them replacing the cloud servers that your e-mails would usually flow through. That means no copies are stored anywhere but on your box.

That means no copies are stored anywhere but on your box and the recipient's. The idea has caught the imagination of some in the security industry, who have called it a "personal cloud on steroids" and Will himself has.

For this week's giveaway, we've teamed up with Pearl Automation to give MacRumors readers a chance to win the Pearl RearVision iPhone-connected wireless car backup camera system. Priced at 499.99, the Pearl RearVision is a backup camera kit that's designed to be installed on a car's rear license plate, giving iPhone users a simple way to get an aftermarket backup camera. This system, compatible with cars made in 1996 and newer, is designed to work with an iPhone 5 or later, and it includes a Camera Frame, Car Adapter, and Phone Mount for use with the iPhone. It's easy enough to set up that it doesn't require a professional - it's similar to installing a license plate cover. Once the Camera Frame is installed, it connects to an iPhone running the accompanying Pearl app and displays whatever's behind the car in either portrait or landscape mode using two wide-angle 180 degree HD camera lenses, one with infrared for night vision capabilities.

There are plenty of air quality sensors out there but so far the Awair Glow is the only sensor Ive found that can do something about nastiness in your environment. The Glow is a small plugin nightlight that connects to an iOS or Android phone and lets you turn on a fan or air purifier if certain conditions are met. The device is quite compact its about as big as a Read More

Plug in your phone, whether it be an iPhone 7 Plus, a Google Pixel XL or any other iOS or Android-based phone and the Picanto instantly connects via either system, and assigns it to the Media button to the left of the screen. It’s responsive to taps and swipes, the buttons are nice and big and the screen is clear and readable. The graphics aren't the last word in modernity, but this is as slick and effective an infotainment system as I’ve come across in a small car. Image 12 of 17 Moreover, it also achieves that most tricky of tasks – of integrating Android Auto or CarPlay – better than most. A voice recognition button on the steering wheel allows you to activate Google Assistant of Siri (note there’s no voice control available for the car’s own satnav) without you having to remove your hands from the steering wheel, and it’s even possible to mix and match functions from the phone and in-car systems to a certain degree.

Aptly named GrubHub Inc (NYSE:GRUB), the food online ordering group, added over 21% to $42.50 as it reported a 26% spike in so called "active diners" - customers. They rose to 8.75 million in the first quarter from 6.97 million a year ago The firm also posted revenue and profits, which beat analysts' expectations. GrubHub connects diners and restaurants through online platforms and apps. Users order through GrubHub and have food delivered by the restaurant. "More new diners tried Grubhub than ever before in the first quarter. We are seeing clear signs of success from a more diverse restaurant base, broader marketing reach, and continuous improvement of our product," said Matt Maloney, Grubhub CEO. "We already had the most comprehensive takeout marketplace in the US, and delivery has enabled our restaurant network to grow significantly in both breadth and depth, making Grubhub the place to go for online takeout.

0.1). Physically, the PRW330 is an imposing piece of kit, about the size of a couple of reams of A3 paper stacked on top of one another. The projector itself has two HDMI ports, RCA, VGA, S-Video and two USB ports for peripherals. It connects wirelessly over Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth (v4.0); as expected its Miracast-compatible which means that you can connect any recent smartphone to it. The lens is covered by a protective cap, and there is a filter that keeps the dust and lint from clogging the innards of the machine. The focusing is done manually, and theres also rudimentary vertical keystone correction via a knob (-/+ 15 degrees) at the back, plus you get an adjustable leg. With a native 1280 x 768-pixel resolution, this projector surpasses on paper similarly priced SVGA models, and the contrast ratio (600:1) and brightness (2800 lumens) are equally impressive.

Claire, for her part, had hired Haitian nanny Gabrielle (Mickaelle X. Bizet) to help care for their young son, partly because Gabrielle speaks only French and thus could teach the boy a second language. Soon it turns out Gabrielle has serious emotional issues of her own, including an estrangement from her son back in Haiti. And that in turn connects to another subplot, wherein social worker Kimara Walters (Regina King) desperately wants a child of her, but instead finds herself scrambling to find shelters or homes for lost and runaway children who feel unwanted by anyone. Mostly we see Kimara trying to help 17-year-old prostitute Shae Reese (Ana Mulvoy-Ten) escape her pimp and accept a life that that’s more boring and less lucrative, but at least not potentially lethal. The history of American Crime tells us that dramas like Shaes are by no means certain to end in happily ever after, which is one reason the show has been so strong.

We don't think about it often, but everything is connected, and we need to restore our connections to a healthy state. Pope Francis even brings science into the equation, just as many other prominent religious figures and monks have in the past. Even science – and you know it better than I do – points to an understanding of reality as a place where every element connects and interacts with everything else, he explains. The fact that everything is connected has been proven time and time again in quantum physics; even the Dalai Lama has expressed this. You can read more about how science and spirituality are intertwined here . How wonderful would it be if the growth of scientific and technological innovation would come along with more equality and social inclusion. How wonderful would it be, while we discover faraway planets, to rediscover the needs of the brothers and sisters orbiting around us? the Pope continued.
