.. such a nominee should not be confirmed. Senators would not only be within their rights to do whatever they could to prevent confirmation, but they would also be obligated to do so. Should Democrats opt to filibuster an unqualified nominee, GOP senators would no doubt accuse them of blocking the nominee for partisan purposes. But Republicans are hardly ones to accuse anyone else of partisan obstruction. Their unprecedented refusal to even consider Merrick Garland was just the most visible part of a much larger scheme involving federal courts at all levels. The story of the past eight years is one of the Senate GOP using every tool at their disposal to obstruct the confirmation process, even dragging district court nominees into their partisan fights for the first time. They completely changed the playbook on judicial nominees . Even though they were the minority party for the first six years, they abused Senate rules in order to delay floor votes as much as possible.

I don't think I am playing well enough to win it but a lot can happen in 24 hours. It never comes back when it goes. But I'll just keep dragging it out. I'm appreciative that I'm still playing at 40, 41, whatever it is.

I need to cut them out. I'm going to keep dragging my career out for as long as I can. That's all you can do, isn't it? To be in the semifinal, not playing anywhere near your best and still have a chance, it can only get better. It's nice to know if your game comes back, but if I'm at that point where I'm delusional and it's not coming back, and keep getting two quarters in semis and keep getting beaten.

And then you get to the table and you miss. I felt I dragged him down, to be honest. That's what I'm doing, dragging them all down, and they seem to be missing balls or something keeps happening for me.

I didn't kill Joe, it was James, Dilione allegedly told police. All I did was punch him, then James said he didn't want to go to jail and then James stabbed him. PHOTOS: Bodyguards Gone Wild! Drugs, Murder, Assault & Other Crimes Committed By Hollywood’s Hired Muscle Mark Bederow , the lawyer for third suspect Max Gemma , claimed: Dilione admitted assaulting Mr. Comunale to the point of unconsciousness after an argument over cigarettes. Rackover then viciously kicked and beat the defenseless Mr. Comunale and declared that we have to kill him .' 25-year-old Rackover allegedly choked Comunale and stabbed him in the head with a knife before dragging his body to a bathtub where Rackover unsuccessfully attempted to dismember him with a serrated blade, according to Bederow's statement. All three suspects have pleaded not guilty.

Under the clear skies, it is cold. We have a lot of cloud around. This picture scented earlier by one pressure in the Mediterranean, very unsubtle is, bringing snow across parts of low levels. We have no snow in our forecast, but we are dragging in this cold air from the near continent, elsewhere we have the milder south-westerly is, so more cloud and also some higher temperatures as we go through the course of the day.

What I do find frustrating in iOS is the dependence it has on the Settings menu, with various app controls all housed here instead of within the apps themselves. It's annoying if you're in the Facebook app for example and want to adjust the notification settings. You have to exit the app and navigate to the setting menu instead. Look beyond the UI though and you'll see that the iPhone 5S is much easier to use than the phones that came before it, which is impressive for a phone that was already market-leading in its simplicity. The software is almost identical to that running on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Dragging upwards from pretty much anywhere on the phone will open the Control Center, giving access to the music player, brightness, quick apps such as a timer, torch and calculator, as well as allowing you to switch on and off elements like the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

If anyone thinks the absurd charges in Sweden could impact this, they do not realise who has pulled the strings all along in this matter. If my suggestion is brought on board, Trump can tell his pro-Assange grassroots supporters (think Ron Paul followers and Infowars listeners) that he did the right thing regarding Assange. At the same time, he will be able to tell his deep state and Congressional opponents that he acted pragmatically rather than ethically in order to ‘move on’ from the ‘Assange problem’ instead of dragging out in a kangaroo court. Absurd though it is, some American politicians would sooner praise a pragmatic decision vis-à-vis an ethical one. In any case, Manning wont be free until May of this year and a lot can happen... “Is this criminal behavior? Is this the behaviour of terrorists?” Members of Qusay al-Umour’s family breakdown as the teen’s body is marched out of the hospital. (Photo: Sheren Khalel/Mondoweiss) Ahmad al-Umour, Qusay’s cousin who was at the scene of the shooting, told Mondoweiss he saw Israeli soldiers dragging Qusay away from where he had been shot without attempting to provide treatment. “They left him bleeding for an hour and a half without offering any first aid,” he said. “Then after the villagers tried to rush through to help him, the soldiers took him to a military base at the entrance of the village, where they notified the Palestinian liaison office that he had been killed. It wasnt until after that the Palestinian Red Crescent was allowed to collect his body.” By the time Qusay arrived at al-Hussein hospital in Bethlehem, he was beyond help.

The video then shows four soldiers, each carrying either one of al-Umour's arms or legs, dragging the motionless teen to the road in an area surrounded by soldiers and armored jeeps. It remained unclear whether al-Umour was already dead when Israeli forces got hold of him, or if he succumbed to his injuries while in custody. These really aren't necessary, and just distract from an otherwise solid free uninstaller. Revo Uninstaller Free offers four uninstall options: built-in, safe (built-in with additional registry scanning), moderate (with extra scanning of common locations for leftover files) and advanced (moderate mode, followed by a thorough scanning of your whole system). There's also a strange 'Hunter Mode', which lets you uninstall programs by dragging their icons onto a crosshair on your desktop. It's much more work than selecting the program from a list - a metaphor gone rogue. Unlike some uninstallers, Revo begins by creating a system restore point, which is reassuring. It can't log new installations, though - if you want that, you might like to give Revo's Pro version a whirl for 30 days. It's worlds away from the free edition's late-90s styling, and will give your drives a good scrubbing. You get all the basics cropping, rotation, healing brushes, and the like but the filters are where you can get really creative. There are blurs, photographic effects, and more extreme options like 'grunge' and 'grainy film', which can add plenty of atmosphere to your photographs. The vast majority of effects are tweakable, mostly by dragging up and down on the canvas to select a parameter and then horizontally to adjust its strength. Brilliantly, the app also records applied effects as separate layers, each of which remains fully editable until you decide to save your image and work on something else. It's no secret that Apple Maps doesn't have the best reputation, although it has got better in recent times. Fortunately, Google Maps is a free download, and a far better solution than the old Google Maps app as well, thanks to the inclusion of turn-by-turn navigation and - in some cities - public transport directions.

This time it was a catch, and another win for the Green Bay Packers. Call it a Half Mary from Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers threw a 36-yard pass to a toe-dragging Jared Cook on the sideline, and Mason Crosby kicked a 51-yard field goal as time expired, sending the Packers to the NFC championship game with their eighth straight win while thwarting a huge Dallas rally in a 34-31 victory in the divisional round of the play-offs on Sunday night. The throw on the run from Rodgers to Cook...
