Eating a frog is the greatest antidote to procrastination, and the most productive people know the importance of biting into this delicacy first thing in the morning. In other words, spend your morning on something that requires a high level of concentration that you dont want to do, and youll get it done in short order. Make a habit of eating three frogs before you check your e-mail because e-mail is a major distraction that enables procrastination and wastes precious mental energy. Eat a live frog first thing in the morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day. Mark Twain 3. Keep morning meetings on schedule. Meetings are the biggest time waster there is, and they can ruin an otherwise productive morning. People who use their mornings effectively know that a meeting will drag on forever if they let it, so they inform everyone at the onset that theyll stick to the intended schedule.

Bringing the authority really back here where it’s historically been enables military commanders to be more agile, to more quickly and efficiently support partners, to have more rapid decision-making, and to keep units together,” he said, adding, “it simply restores authority and it’s a more effective way of managing it.” The Force Management Level (FML) system was introduced in Iraq and Syria during the Obama administration, in order to exert control over the military. Control of the system is being transferred from the White House to the Pentagon, where it had typically existed before the Bush and Obama administrations. Obama, from time to time, increased FML limits, but the scheme was criticized by military commanders, arguing that the bureaucratic process complicated their ability to deploy troops in the midst of the wars in Iraq, and later, Syria.

Have you got your account FATCA (foreign account tax compliance act) compliant? If you haven't then Monday could be a problem for you. Mutual fund investors, bank account holders and those who have invested in insurance schemes cannot operate their accounts, which were opened between July 1, 2014 and August 31, 2015, from May 1 if they are not compliant with FATCA. But what is FATCA and why is there a big fuss now? FATCA enables automatic exchange of financial information between India and the US. Indian financial institutions have to provide necessary information to Indian tax authorities, which will then be transmitted to the US. The inter-governmental agreement (IGA) with the US for implementing FATCA came into effect on August 31, 2015. Financial institutions were told to obtain self-certification and carry out due diligence procedure to determine the reasonableness of the self-certification in respect of all individual and entity accounts opened from July 1, 2014 to August 31, 2015.

Ashampoo Zip Free A nicely designed tool, but the teasers of premium content can be tiresome Ashampoo Zip Free is a well designed WinRAR alternative, held back by a few irritating quirks. When you install the software, youll be prompted to enter a registration code. To do this, you have to sign up for a free account using your email address and a password that uses a combination of numbers, letters and special characters. Once youve done this, youll be sent a message containing a verification link, which will take you to a page where you can copy your code. The account enables you to link all your Ashampoo software together if you choose to upgrade to one of its premium tools, but its a cumbersome process. Ashampoo Zip Free can extract files from over 30 archive types (including RAR), and create ZIP, 7-ZIP, CAB, TAR, and LHA packages.

Facebook's latest policy update will help ensure only content creators reap the financial benefits of their videos. The social networking firm has announced new automated rules for its Rights Manager tool to better protect publishers from freeboating, a practice in which a user downloads someone else's ©-protected material with the intention of stealing clicks. The update enables content creators to find matches of their video content on Facebook via its revamped dashboard. Previously, the rights owner would review these matches in the dashboard to take action, Facebook product manager Xiaoyin Qu said in a blog post. To help make management more efficient for rights owners, we’re now enabling them to automate more of the process, and providing more options for what happens to matched content. This means that the rights owner can decide to set an action to happen automatically when a match of their content is found on Facebook, simplifying the process.

A malware research team has discovered a new piece of Mac malware that reportedly affects all versions of MacOS and is signed with a valid developer certificate authenticated by Apple (via The Hacker News ). The malware has been dubbed "DOK" and is being disseminated through an email phishing campaign which researchers at CheckPoint say is specifically targeting macOS users, making it the first of its kind. The malware works by gaining administration privileges in order to install a new root certificate on the user's system. This enables it to gain access to all communications between the host Mac and the internet, including traffic flowing through connections encrypted with SSL. The initial email pretends to be informing the recipient of inconsistencies in their tax return and asks them to download a zip file attachment to their Mac that harbors the malware.

William Conklin, country director of the Solidarity Center, said the wage disparity between men and women should not exist. “It’s against the law, it’s against the fact (that) Cambodia’s ratified the ILO (International Labor Organization) core convention on pay equity,” he said. “But what they do, they categorize the different work. So they may be performing and do the same job or basically same work but they may give them different titles.” And that, he said, enables them to skirt the laws on equal pay. Luke Hunt contributed to this report from Phnom Penh.

Better still, if you own a Samsung TV, it integrates with Samsung’s Eden UX, and provides access to your soundbar’s settings on your TV screen. Thankfully, you’re not out of luck if you lose the remote down the back of the sofa: there are physical buttons for power, volume source selection on the soundbar’s right-hand side. Image 3 of 16 Samsung has opted to move the LED display on its 2017 soundbars from an off-centre position to the right-hand side. The small display enables you to view key information such as the current audio source or sound modes, or precisely adjust the volume level. Underneath the soundbar, you’ll find its connections: there’s a power input and output (so you dont need two wall sockets to power both the soundbar and TV), an optical digital input, analogue 3.5mm input, and HDMI input and output ( TV-ARC ). Its connectivity options dont stop there, as the MS650 has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity too.
