Both of these are like Clint Eastwood they continue to deliver outstanding performances year after year. Debian allows you to configure several other repositories, such as non-free and contrib, which contains packages that don't gel with the very strict Debian Free Software Guidelines. As with Pacman and yum, you can use APT to install local packages, leveraging on the repositories to resolve dependencies. Unlike the other distros, Slackware doesn't offer a single full-featured tool for package management. Instead, you have a separate tool to install, update and remove packages. As Slackware uses source tarballs as packages, you also get a tool to convert rpm packages to tar.gz packages. If you're willing to sacrifice a few features, you can use the pkgtool utility to manage packages. This tool allows you to install and remove packages, but nothing else.

I've been on a quest for the perfect pillow for years. My mattress game is on point, but the same cannot be said about my pillows. I've tried memory foam, contoured memory foam, down varieties (not for me…too much fluffing), down-alternative, gel-fiber, polyester fluff—you name it, I've slept on it. As a back sleeper plagued with lower back issues, I'm always looking out for something that'll align my spine and ail my aches and pains, so when I saw a commercial for a "miracle" pillow filled with buckwheat hulls, I was intrigued to say the least. A "miracle" huh? "Yeah, freaking, right," I thought upon hearing the (probably) hyperbolical advertisement. "This is truly the last pillow you'll ever have to buy," they said. Well…we'll see about that. READ MORE »

RECOMMENDED: Is It Worth Trying Gait Analysis If Youre Training For A Marathon? “It’s worth trying taping first, and then slowly introducing an orthotic and insole gel is the next thing that’s recommended,” says Wright. “It’s best to seek professional help here from a physiotherapist or podiatrist.” How long will plantar fasciitis stop you from running for? One reason plantar fasciitis is such a brutal injury is the way it can linger for weeks or months, ready to strike you down the moment you think you’re finally clear.

Cardon said the port imitates surgical technologies such as laparoscopy that use small openings to insert surgical instruments and uses devices that are maneuverable with a spacesuit-style gloved hand. And if you think inflatable space modules are the wave of the future, you’ll love Cardon’s proposal for an inflatable bed pan. The bedpan has an absorbent liner and is can be slide through the port. Once in place inside the spacesuit, it inflates to capture the waste. Cardon also invented a diaper made of one, long strip. The strip has segments of absorbent gel alternated with plastic segments that layer over the crotch. When one layer is soaked, the astronaut pulls it out through the port and tears it off like tape from a dispenser, exposing a fresh layer of gel.

For over a century, men who didn't want to father a child had only one permanent option for contraception: vasectomy. But the findings of the new study suggest there could be an alternative that is as efficient and has the potential to be easily and successfully reversible. The procedure involves the use of Vasalgel—a polymer-based hydrogel that is injected into the vas deferens, which is the tube the sperm swim through on their journey to impregnation. The gel sits in the tube and essentially blocks the vas deferens, acting as a mechanical barrier to the passage of sperm. When applied, the gel prevented male monkeys from having offspring throughout the mating season. Human clinical trials for a similar product, named RIUSG (Reversible Inhibition of Sperm Under Guidance) that lines the vas deferens but does not obstruct it, are being performed in men in India, says Catherine Vandevoort of the University of California, Davis.

There may be some lumps. Put the dough back in your work bowl and cover it with a sheet of plastic wrap. Let it sleep for 15 to 30 minutes. While it relaxes, you can prepare your filling. 3. Knead Again. Dust your work surface with a little more flour, then knead it as before. Work out all those lumps; after kneading about ten times you should have satin-smooth dough that forms a clean ball you can easily push into, like the gel of a shoe insert. 4. Portion the dough. Form your dough into a log, dust a dough scraper with a little flour, and cut the dough into four equal sections. Roll each section into a log and chop it into six pieces for a total of twenty-four balls of dough, each about an inch in diameter. Toss the balls with a light coating of flour and cover with a lightly moistened towel. 5. Roll the dough into wrappers. Gently smash the balls of dough into flat disks, then lightly roll an Asian-style rolling pin across them to flatten them out a bit more.

When the club benefits were outlined for us, we jumped on the offer. A butler even escorted us to afternoon tea in Club InterContinental while our room was being prepared. The Room Our King Club InterContinental Room felt classy and roomy with a large king-size bed, a day bed and wooden decor. The huge marble bathroom felt like a spa. The toilet and bidet were kept in a separate but awkwardly-shaped room that was separated by a frosted glass door. There were two sinks, one inside the bathroom and another just outside it. The generous amenity kit included 100 ml bottles of Harnn Mystique shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel. Listerine mouthwash, water bottles and sewing, shoe care and dental kits were also provided. Since I'm an IHG Platinum, I received a welcome gift of a fruit plate and chocolates, along with a personalized note.

I did notice some folks using the Do Not Disturb sign during my flight, including the passenger seated directly across from me. Of course, these seats go completely flat, and if you happen to catch the 77W on an international flight, you'll have a full suite of bedding to choose from, including a mattress cover and gel pillow (pictured below). Again, one thing to keep an eye out for is the footwells. They're by no means tiny at any of the seats, but some definitely offer more space than others. For example, here's a 13-inch MacBook Air in a non-bulkhead footwell: Meanwhile, here's the same computer in the footwell of a seat in row 1: Storage is limited to the footwell (above), a small side compartment (below) and a narrow shelf below the display, which is just large enough to hold a smartphone or other small accessories. Overall, it's clear that the airline really paid attention to small details here — down to the stitching and United tag at each business-class seat.
