With this introduction, I want to turn to the subject of the title of this article: Is Our Sun Conscious? I wonder, in all seriousness, if it was just luck or good fortune that the July 2012 solar event was a near miss from Earth’s perspective, or if there was possibly something else involved? A Conscious Sun? For the past several years my wife, Catherine (Katie) Ulissey, has been following observations of the Sun on a regularusually dailybasis. Solar flares and accompanying coronal mass ejections (CMEs) can erupt from sunspots, so sunspots and their activity are a potential short-term indicator of an impending major solar outburst that, if Earth-directed, could cause massive devastation to our modern technological society, as might have happened if the July 2012 solar eruption had hit us. Katie often comments to me that otherwise very active sunspots strangely lessen the severity of their activity, producing smaller solar flares and so forth, or even appear to become temporarily dormant and shut down their activity, when they are Earth-facing.

Following the political surprises of 2015 and 2016, there has been much reflection and debate on the accuracy of the polls in the run-up to the impending snap-election of 2017. It is fair to say that, although perhaps somewhat unfair on the pollsters, the EU referendum and US presidential election have exacerbated rather than healed the widespread loss of public faith in the polls induced by the 2015 general election debacle.

The EC had denied both factionsclaim over the symbol in the by-election to the constituency represented by Jayalalithaa. Dhinakaran was his faction’s contestant in the election which was cancelled by the EC, citing Dhinakaran and his associatesattempts to bribe voters. Both factions have been going back and forth on talks for an impending merger. The DMK is also entering a new phase of its existence, with Stalin taking control of the party, but he still does not quite measure up to his father in charisma or political acumen. The BJP sees the present scenario as its best chance to make an impact in the state, which in the 2014 general election defied the BJP surge. (The BJP alliance won just two of the 39 seats, with the AIADMK winning the rest). In the 2016 assembly election, the BJP failed to win a single seat. There have also been talks of an alliance between the Panneerselvam camp and the BJP; Panneerselvam recently met Modi in the capital.

In a different session with a client in May of 2017, Alison was told that the energy would be coming in 8-10 months, which basically gives a time frame between January and March of 2018. While I’ve been given glimpses of the future, I’ve never been given specific dates. “Everything is going to change. People need to stay out of fear. Some people are going to the new Earth (and) some people are staying (here) based on their personal choice, their soul choice. Some people (will) want to stay to help people who are remaining here and some people are going to populate this new area.” Many people who have been doing their work, maintaining a high vibration , grounding themselves , living in the vibration of love while living in the heart can sense and feel that something HUGE and IMPENDING is on the horizon. Many of us have received messages through various ways about what to expect and this video by Alison is basically confirmation about what we have seen, felt, and experienced in regard to the new Earth.

Two D.C. stories collided on Thursday when the 4 th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals handed down a 103 decision in International Refugee Assistance Project v. Trump , affirming virtually all of a Maryland district judge’s nationwide injunction against Donald Trump’s second try at an executive order limiting travel and immigration from six majority-Muslim countries. One story is about how a largely horrified judicial branch is the last, best check against Trump’s truth-challenged mayhem. The other is whether Justice Anthony Kennedy is poised to announce his impending retirement. These two stories are now inextricably linked, because there is almost no way to read the 206 pages’ worth of opinions in IRAP as anything other than a ransom note from the federal judiciary directed solely at Justice Kennedy.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah) on Wednesday spoke out about his impending departure from Congress, saying that "at some point, you've got to get off this crazy train." Chaffetz, chairman of the Oversight Committee, is expected to resign his House seat effective June 30th . CNN's "The Situation Room" host Wolf Blitzer asked Chaffetz why he was leaving Congress with so much still to do. "At some point, you've got to get off this crazy train. There's always somebody doing something stupid somewhere, so there's always plenty of things to investigate and look at," Chaffetz said. "But you know, at some point, you got to look yourself in the mirror, and say, you know, I've spent more than 1500 nights away from my family," he explained. "I happen to love my wife and adore my kids, we're about to become empty nesters, and looking at the prospect of spending another two or three hundred nights away from my wonderful wife Julie over the next 18 months, I just don't want to do it anymore.

The Peoples Bank of China (PBOC) this week told commercial banks that it will adjust the formula to calculate its daily yuan reference rate, in an apparent aim to ward off capital outflows as a result of the US Federal Reserves impending rise in interest rates. An inverse cycle adjustment factor will be added to the closing exchange rate price and to the basket of currencies for calculating the daily currency fixing, or the mid-point rate which the yuan is allowed to...

Over three fourths of cars in the Maruti portfolio will be compliant with the safety norms. Over to October 2017. TATA MOTORS Well on Track Tim Leverton is confident that the price-sensitive Indian consumer is evolving into a safety-conscious one? “Safety is becoming an important aspect of the buying decision,” says the R&D head Tata Motors. “We are working towards the fitment of safety features including ABS that will be offered as a standard in all our new and existing models from April 2018 and April 2019, respectively.” For Tata Motors, the impending regulatory requirements will be addressed through design alterations related to crumple zones, load path and energy absorption. “The mandated safety norms are stringent and would need some real work on several models to make them compliant,” says Leverton. “This will be done through rigorous design and developmental actions.

If Apple is successful in suing Qualcomm for monopolistic practices, we could potentially see cheaper iPhones since Apple doesnt have to pay Qualcomm as much per device. However, Apple also has to answer if it deliberately slowed down 4G performance in its Qualcomm-equipped iPhones in order to create performance parity across handsets. If this is true and in breach of contract with Qualcomm, Apple may have to pay a hefty fine. That situation has been further inflamed by the fact Qualcomm is now looking to put a ban on incoming iPhones , putting the stoppers on the impending iPhone 8 unveiling. That's fairly theoretical, as it's very unlikely to go through given the extreme legal machinations each mega-rich company can put the other through, but it's another bargaining chip ahead of the inevitable resolution. And when the dust has settled it could be business as usual.

(credit: KCNA (North Korean state media) ) On Sunday, the North Korean military conducted a second, successful test of the Pukguksong-2, a solid-fuel intermediate range ballistic missile based on a design derived from the country's submarine-launched ballistic missile. While this might seem like just more saber-rattling from Pyongyang's leadership given the relatively continuous chain of test launches since President Donald Trump's inauguration (a total of 10 so far this year), this launch and the launch on May 13 carry a bit more weight. According to North Korea's government media, Sunday's test shows that the Pukguksong-2 is now ready to be "mass-produced." If true, that development would substantially increase the threat posed by North Korea's missile force—the Pukguksong-2 can be deployed on tracked mobile launchers, and it uses a "cold-launch" system that requires much less preparation time, which provides much less of an opportunity for the US and allies to detect an impending attack.

A watch that watches you while you're sleeping but in a non-threatening way. The world of activity-tracking watches is pretty competitive these days. You can't track just the basics like steps taken or calories burned and expect to make a big impact in the market. That's why Withings Activity Watches also track activity while you sleep. They monitor your sleep cycle, tell you when you slept lightly or deeply, and provide you with a gentle wake-up vibration when it's time to start the day. But they also monitor what's going on while you're sleeping. So every attempt you make in your dreams to fly, noted. Each time you stop a bullet with your bare hands, recorded. All punches and parries directed at bad guys, Withings knows all about it. Even more impressive, these particular Withings Activity Watches know when you're swimming. So next time you have to wade through an unidentified, viscous biological substance to save the world from an impending alien invasion, Withings will know just how hard you're working at it.

The launch of a Pukguksong-2 solid-fuel missile from a mobile launcher on May 21 may signal a new level of worries for the US, Japan, and South Korea. If this photo is genuine, then we've just had one of the clearest views yet of the Samsung Galaxy X , the first 'properly' foldable smartphone to be released. The Galaxy X leaks comes from Dutch tech site TechTastic , which has found a picture of the supposedly-impending device. It takes a lot of cues from the current Samsung Galaxy S8 , but is devoid of sensors on the front. TechTastic posits that this is due to the fact the Galaxy X will have a screen on the back (which becomes the front when folded. Credit: TechTastic This would jive with the patent applications for the fully-foldable phone we've seen - but it's not clear if that's how this phone will work. Are those lugs at the top designed to clip into the bottom? Raising the contrast of the image doesn't highlight anything (and does make it look like there's a watermark in the corner that's not been made clear) but if correct, the whole front of the phone bar the top is a screen.

Nicole Kidman talked about her impending 50th birthday on the Graham Norton Show on Friday night, and she had a warning for her husband and party-planner-in-chief Keith Urban. "I actually break out in a coldsore if I have a surprise," says Kidman. Urban says he has a lot of stuff planned, but he's aware of her dislike of surprises. "I did have a surprise party once when I was 30 and it was so shocking to me because people had come from overseas and they'd set it all up and people walked in and I broke out in a coldsore [...] Like, on the spot," she said. Kidman explained that she had been speaking on the phone to her father who said her mother was "in the garden" in Australia, but moments later she walked into a room in Montana, U.S. Read more...
