Trump has said he wants a simultaneous — or near simultaneous, at least — repeal and replacement of Obamacare, although it’s not evident that Republicans have coalesced around a plan to accomplish such a feat. Republican lawmakers have made clear in recent weeks that they would look to Trump to take as much regulatory action as possible against Obamacare while they work through the messy process of trying to repeal the law through legislation. Trump reiterated in the order that his administration seeks the prompt repeal of the health care law. In the meantime, pending such repeal, it is imperative for the executive branch to ensure that the law is being efficiently implemented, take all actions consistent with law to minimize the unwarranted economic and regulatory burdens of the Act, and prepare to afford the States more flexibility and control to create a more free and open healthcare market, the order says.

They must decide whether they accept the outcome of these negotiations or whether they want to choose to remain in the EU. The answer is implicit in what Sarah's just said. The answer lies in the decision of the referendum, do you want to remain in or to leave. That was the sovereign decision of the people, that's what we stick to as the direction, as the remainers themselves have accepted, let alone respected, that this is the outcome and that has to be implemented, it will be implemented and it's been agreed there will be a final vote in the House of Commons and in the House of Lords on the outcome of the treaty.

When we implemented Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) , that was for working people who just wanted to come out of the shadows and contribute to this country in the light of day. ― When Obama signed the law to reduce crack/cocaine sentencing discrepancies , and pushed the sentencing commission for reform , and made a cause out of his presidential commutation power , and pushed to ban the box on employment forms, that was for working people who wanted to make a living for themselves and their families, and not have their lives destroyed by some drug offense that a wealthy kid might have gotten a slap on the wrist for. ― When the president brought more than 90 percent of our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan , stayed out of a full blown ground war quagmire in Syria despite constant criticism, and used diplomacy to block Irans nuclear program and avoid another war, that was for the working people who make up Americas military white working people, black working people, Hispanic, Asian, and tribal who want to serve their country and get an education they might not otherwise be able to afford, and who are treated like cannon fodder by Washingtons war hawks.

This was an investigation focusing on abuse but the inquiry acknowledge the good work of many people working in the institutions. The report is now available to the public but it has to be implemented by politicians. We therefore urge the new executive and Assembly to give affect our recommendations and to do so as a matter of priority after the election. We believe those who have waited so long for their voices to be heard deserve nothing less.

Checks and balances slow things down. They're sort of like bias and variance . You want to tune your system so that it adapts to change...but if it responds too quickly you can get instability and overfitting. You want your government to respond to the people and to changing circumstances, but not pivot abruptly on every whim. Direct democracy can be a double-edged sword. Brexit, Proposition 13 4 . Sometimes you need to patch code pretty quickly and you accumulate technical debt , expedient solutions which need to be more carefully implemented later, or create maintenance and other problems in the long run. Hard cases make bad law ...the solution that seems just in a complex case doesn't always generalize. You don't want to optimize code too much for the current use case, you need to be flexible. And you need laws that reflect universal principles.

However, this will not last forever and it seems quite clear that the-powers-that- shouldnt -be are working very hard on ways to censor posts and cut off the circulation of the alternative media. Many have already announced or implemented plans to do so. With this in mind, it’s becoming increasingly important that people of truth begin to build up new platforms that are not controlled by established interests and that will not censor free speech or the alternative media. Some of the platforms that have already been developed and should be looked into are Steemit , Voat , Minds , Gaab, and Awake Social to name a few. While these platforms may not be perfect and more work needs to be done, there are alternatives to the established social media sites which, with our support, can continue to grow and reach more people. The deeper truth that many dont want to come to terms with is that eventually the people of truth might have to start thinking about developing not just better social media platforms, but a whole new Internet infrastructure, especially if the current one continues to come under increased control.

He also said that during his time in Seoul, the free trade agreement (FTA) with South Korea was more fully implemented. It should be noted, however, that some American companies still complain of excessive and confusing regulations being imposed on U.S. imports to stifle foreign competition, without overtly violating the FTA. And Lippert was quick to point out what he considered was the worst policy failure under his watch. “The regret is easy. Congress’s failure to ratify and implement the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) was a great disappointment,” he said. South Korea was not a member state of the TPP free trade agreement, which included the U.S., Japan and 10 other Pacific Rim countries, and accounted for 40 percent of the world’s economy. Lippert said the TPP, however, would have given the U.S. a great deal of economic leverage in the region as it set higher standards for labor conditions, and for environmental and anti-corruption regulations.

The new design needed to showcase the products, pushing more customers to conversion, rather than losing them on what was a confusing journey across the site. The use of white space, a centered logo, and a more modern site experience increased conversion by 410% . Even better? The publications and vendors BOXHILL was working to secure became more inclined to include the brand in mentions and roundups. With the new site design, BOXHILL earned coveted spots on outlets relevant to its brand, like Goop and HGTV Garden.

The household of [James Watts] has cats, and those cats have decided that various spots of carpet are just great for digging up with their claws. After some efforts at training the cats, [James] enlisted a robotic cat trainer with remote wireless sensors . The automated trainer does only one job, but it does that one job reliably and tirelessly, which is just what is needed in this case. A task like automate training the cats to stop clawing the carpet is really made up of many smaller problems, and [James] implemented a number of clever ideas in his solution. First of all, the need for an automated solution has a lot to do with how pets form associations, and the need to have the negative reinforcement be in the right place at the right time to be effective. A harmless spritz of water in this case is used for correction and needed to be applied immediately, consistently, and from out of nowhere (instead of coming from a person.

TELUK BAHANG: The Teluk Bahang Dam which is at full capacity at this moment has the ability to supply a year's worth of water to Penangites, said Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng. Lim, who is also chairman of Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd (PBAPP) Board, said the capacity of the Teluk Bahang Dam was 19 billion litres which is enough to supply 304 days of water to Penangites. The capacity of Air Itam Dam meanwhile has reached 98.1% of 2.71 billion litres, has enough water to supply 97 days water to Penangites. Lim said the high capacity of Teluk Bahang Dam had proven that the state government had implemented the right policy by going green to prohibit any development on hill areas in order to prevent water shortage in the state. "We also imposed a stipulation that any hill project cannot be built above 250 feet. There is currently no illegal hill projects in the state, otherwise, the state government will take action against the offenders.

Around the same time, French company POMA proposed an intra-city cable car facility to provide feeder services to the Metro rail. In its proposal, the company says the facility can carry 3,000 passengers per hour. Both the Metrino and POMA projects, however, remain mere proposals.
