Besides thesenavigation providers, Aireon hopes to provide service to other public and private navigation firms, as well as to airlines and other customers. This week, it announced it had completed a successful flight test with the FAA, setting the stage for use of the system in the U.S. SpaceXs Falcon 9 rocket, which has already deployed 10 of Iridiums next-generation ADS-B-equipped satellites. Aireons system is essentially a space-based extension of the next-generation air traffic control system known as automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast, or ADS-B . That technology, which will be installed in most of the worlds passenger aircraft within the decade and will be required on most planes in U.S. airspace as of 2020 ,automatically transmits a planes geographical coordinates every second, from transponders on board to receivers on the ground.

In one comical image from MailOnline Travel's round-up, a cash point has been installed considerably too high up on a wall. Another has been built far too low. It's a Goldilocks tale for the modern age.

Under the hood, it's a Raspberry Pi Zero, two WiFi dongles, and some simple Python software that stores probe requests in a database. There's also a seven-segment display to indicate how many different probe-request profiles Linger has seen. We're not sure the price point on this device is quite down to throwie level, but we'd love to see some of these installed in the local mall. The fact that your smartphone leaks data that's able to fingerprint and track you should be old news to our crowd. But don't just take our word for it, try it out yourself! With one Raspberry Pi in your backpack, you could log all the signals around you . Add a few more nodes and you could even try to triangulate your phone within your own home . Just because it's a creepy invasion of privacy doesn't mean it's out of the realm of the DIY hacker. Filed under: Cellphone Hacks , Raspberry Pi

Muslim and Christian community leaders insist that although the Hindutva wave targeting the minorities began sweeping the country around the time Narendra Modi was elected prime minister in 2014, the two communities have begun facing a new wave of sectarian attacks following BJP's victory in three states, including Uttar Pradesh, last month. Allegations have surfaced that, soon after Adityanath, a hard-line Hindu religious leader, was installed as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV), a private Hindu militia set up by him, began attacking Muslims and Christians in the state. "After Yogi became the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Muslims were asked by the HYV activists to leave at least two Hindu-majority villages of the state to make them Hindu-only villages. In another Hindu-majority village in Hapur [in Uttar Pradesh], HYV men thrashed Muslims and warned against wearing Muslim skullcaps in public.

An early Saturday attempt at a ballistic missile test by North Korea ended as so many others have in recent weeks, failing and exploding almost immediately after takeoff, according to US officials who were monitoring the situation. Officials say the missile was believed to be a short-range missile, which would've had the range to hit South Korea, but not Japan. The US presented the failed test as a further military provocation, despite the attempted launch not even getting the missile out of North Korea's own territory. Calling tests provocations is a go-to response for the US, and that appears to have continued despite the US, just a few days ago, testing its own nuclear-capable long-range ICBM, firing it some 4,000 miles from California to an atoll near the Marshall Islands. The latest test is likely to add to the US efforts to get the THAAD missile defense installed in South Korea, despite President Trump's unsuccessful attempt to convince the South Korean government to pay him for it.

At the rear, the BMW 4 Series Facelift is offered standard with the full LED technology. The BMW-typical L-shape is reinterpreted as well. In the discreetly upgraded interior, the multifunctional instrument display with a complete digital display is installed. The complete tacho-unit behind the steering wheel becomes a digital display, which can change its look depending on the driving mode, and can be used to display numerous information. With the 326 hp cylinder cylinder B58 engine, the 440i Gran Coupetop model accelerates from 0 to 100 in 5.1 seconds, the 440i xDrive all-wheel-drive variant is a tenth of a second faster. Thanks to the torque of 450 Newton meter, which is applied almost between 1,380 and 5,000 rpm, the sovereignty is ensured in every living situation. As an alternative to the manual six-speed gearbox, the 440i is, of course, also available with automatic eight-speed automatic transmission.

Following lengthy consultation and conditions, the plans were approved in 2010, with fewer, larger pylons installed in many areas and undergrounding of cable in parts of the Cairngorms National Park. For this week's giveaway, we've teamed up with Pearl Automation to give MacRumors readers a chance to win the Pearl RearVision iPhone-connected wireless car backup camera system. Priced at 499.99, the Pearl RearVision is a backup camera kit that's designed to be installed on a car's rear license plate, giving iPhone users a simple way to get an aftermarket backup camera. This system, compatible with cars made in 1996 and newer, is designed to work with an iPhone 5 or later, and it includes a Camera Frame, Car Adapter, and Phone Mount for use with the iPhone. It's easy enough to set up that it doesn't require a professional - it's similar to installing a license plate cover. Once the Camera Frame is installed, it connects to an iPhone running the accompanying Pearl app and displays whatever's behind the car in either portrait or landscape mode using two wide-angle 180 degree HD camera lenses, one with infrared for night vision capabilities.
