This is a comprehensive London Tube app, with a journey planner, live departure boards and more. On the Watch, London Tube Tracker shows details for stations you've picked as favourites on the iPhone, down to what trains will be arriving when. Meanwhile, on the Glances screen it'll tell you how long it is until your next or last train home and how long that journey should take. The cool live Tube map, showing trains shuffling round London is restricted to the iPhone version, sadly. Still, the route planning and line statuses on the Watch are useful. What are the tasks you really want to achieve? Pick six from the hundreds of icons on the iPhone and they'll appear in the Watch app or the Streaks complication on the Watch face. So whether you want to read more, practise a musical instrument or walk the dog, there are icons you can invoke and reminders it can offer.

It’s a portable home console at its core, blurring that once firm line between couch gaming and those on-the-go experiences. Image 4 of 17 Nintendo has nailed flexibility. If you’re sitting at home and want the proper big screen experience, just plonk it into the TV dock, grab a controller and it’ll be a TV-connected console. Heading to work? No biggie, simply detach it from the dock, slide the pair of controllers into either side of the Switch and you’re all set to play Zelda on that otherwise tedious train journey. Nintendo Switch (Neon Red/Neon Blue) Buy now The Switch is a very capable hybrid. Moving from the big screen to its surprisingly bright 6.2in 1,280 x 720 display is seamless without any lost frames. It’s a much bigger beast than the 3DS and weighs more too, but it’s by no means unwieldy. THE Sundance Film Festival opens in Utah Thursday, promising to set the agenda for independent cinema and starting the 2018 Oscars buzz a month before this year's statuettes are awarded. The annual gathering, founded in 1985 by iconic screen outlaw Robert Redford, turns the lens on 118 independent features, as Hollywood descends on the ski resort of Park City for the 33rd edition. "From the passion and chaos of creativity, independent filmmakers make decisions to harness that energy, break new ground and tell their stories," Redford, 80, said in a statement. "This year's festival reflects every step of that journey and shows how art can engage, provoke and connect people all over the world." Kicking off in 1985 as a counterweight to the dominance of major Hollywood studios, Sundance nurtures new talent and provides a showcase for filmmakers working outside the studio system.
