Update: Today's the day! HMD is holding a press conference later where it's widely expected to announce new Nokia-branded handsets, with a refresh of the Nokia 3310 among them. We'll be there to bring you all the news as it happens, but recent rumors about the new Nokia 3310 include that it will probably have a color display, in place of the original's monochrome one, but that it will still have a physical number pad and the screen won't respond to touch - so this is strictly a dumb or feature phone. The Nokia 3310 relaunch is also thought to retain the retro looks that so many loved on the old handset, so expect something steeped in nostalgia, but with some modern concessions and apparently a slimmer and lighter design. Hopefully it will also be as durable and long-lasting between charges as its namesake. Original article follows: Four Nokia phones are set to hit the stage at MWC 2017 in just a few weeks, according to a new report from a reliable leaker, and one may give you flashbacks of mobile years gone by.

New Nokia 3310 release date The new Nokia 3310 release date is set for Q2 of this year, but the firm is currently unable to give us anything more specific than this April-June time frame. We have been told the new 3310 will be available globally though, so it will hopefully be quite easy to get hold of. New Nokia 3310 design The design of the new Nokia 3310 brings the classic look up to date with a slimmer profile and lighter body alongside the familiar screen border and key layout from the original phone. Its body measures a highly-pocketable 115.6 x 51.0 x 12.8mm, and the new 3310 tips the scales at just 79.6g. Other additions over the original include a headphone jack at the top and a microUSB port on the base for charging. There's also a microSD slot under the removable rear cover which supports cards up to 32GB in size. The new Nokia 3310 will be available in four colors; the original blue and grey along with the newer, and brighter yellow and warm red.

Pope Francis has begun reducing penalties for pedophile priests, unveiling a prayers not prison punishment scheme for child abusers within the Catholic church. The liberal pope claims to be applying his vision of a merciful church to pedophile priests by reducing punishments to lighter sentences, in some cases a lifetime of prayer. However sex abuse victims are appalled, saying Pope Francis is normalizing pedophilia within the Catholic church again, undoing the work done by his predecessor Pope Benedict. Marie Collins, an abuse survivor and founding member of Francis' sex-abuse advisory commission, expressed dismay that the penalties were being weakened, arguing that pedophiles should be sentenced to jail, not told to pray. She said: All who abuse have made a conscious decision to do so. Even those who are paedophiles, experts will tell you, are still responsible for their actions.

As the nights get lighter and we start to have more confidence that spring is finally on its way, within financial markets there is also more confidence about the economic outlook. However, the Met Office predicts a mixed forecast before the month is out. This leads us to consider if the world economy will also become more uncertain and what questions this poses for investors.

Reference is minimal bookend created by Brooklyn-based industrial designer Henry Julier . His work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool, as a way of recognizing and forming relationships between ideas and reality, and as a method for improving the connections between people and the products they use. The design was initiated by a couple whose exhibit within the LA Art Book Fair is called In Support of Books . He was interested in sheet steel bookends as a starting point for their economy of material as well as their overall durability. While most bookends do a fine job with normal paperback books, heavier books, or even the designer's ever-expanding collection of vinyl, caused the normal sheet steel bookends to flex. Julier was also finding lighter bookends difficult to adjust under heavy loads. The need for a heavy, stiff sheet steel bookend that didn't rely on downward pressure from books to stay put, as well as being sympathetic to being picked up and plopped down at will, led to this design.

Some of it heavy across the western up slopes of the south-west of England, western Wales and for north-west England there could be quite a lot of rain piling up for Cumbria and Lancashire. Across central and eastern areas, rain will be lighter and patchier. A windy day for all, though - mild, double figures in many areas. the sunshine to compensate.

That means that the further east and south you are, the lighter the rain will be. Even here at times in the afternoon, there might be a few glimmers of brightness, but just a few through those clouds.

Both are extremely durable, but carbon fibre has the added advantage of being lighter and completely impervious to corrosion. Carbon fibre tripods are pricier than their aluminium counterparts, but their high strength to weight ratio makes them a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about photography – and especially for those who value portability above all else. The best tripods to buy Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB 100: The best all-round tripod Price when reviewed: £140 If you’re looking for an all-rounder that wont let you down, you can’t go wrong with the Vanguard Alta Pro. Offering the best of both worlds when it comes to stability and flexibility, the Alta Pro is worthy of a much higher price tag. The Alta Pro’s standout feature is its hexagonal Multi-Angle Central Column, which allows you to position the camera at almost any angle. The MACC easily moves from 0° to 180° and rotates a full 360°, making low angle, macro and wide-angle shots possible.

Alcohol disrupts sleep patterns, especially in the second part of the night. Normally you cycle through REM sleep (the part where you dream) and deep sleep, but alcohol sends you straight into the deep zone. Then, as it wears off, you come up into a lighter sleep where you can wake up more easily. This is one reason why you often wake up early after a night on the sauce, even if you’ve got to bed later than usual, leaving you exhausted on top of the likely hangover. Another reason why you might wake up is the burning need to go to the toilet, due to alcohol’s diuretic effect, which means it dehydrates you. On top of all that, booze also disrupts your breathing, which can lead normally quiet sleepers to impersonate a buzzsaw during the night. So while it might be a shortcut to dropping off quickly, drinking to help you sleep is a tactic that will backfire quickly, since the damage alcohol does to your night’s snooze will result in you waking up under-rested and feeling groggy.

Each armed with an ensuite, the bedrooms evoke a sense of calm. Bathed in blue and white, the first bedroom reminds of the solar system, with metallic decals in circular shapes. A matching turquoise bed acts as a lounge or sleeping space, while relaxed beanbag-style seats offer conversation. Warmer in hue and showcasing red rock, the second bedroom curves round to the ensuite with an elevated steppe. A wooden basin greets it at its end, while lighter pink ceilings span over to another circular bed and wooden cavity for bedtime necessities. Lawrence Allan 24 Feb 2017 An Audi with an S badge has historically had a tough time in the hands of evo testers. The verdict usually borders on the predictable – very accomplished at tackling everyday, mundane drives, but fails to come alive on the right road in the way you’d expect a supposed performance model to. However, the latest S5 Coupe and Sportback look to have gone against the grain. When we drove the former back in December we were surprised with the pleasing sense of agility and composure Audi had managed to dial in to the new, lighter platform. Which begs the question: can the heavier, less rigid drop-top version pull off the same trick? Audi S5 Coupe review Engines, transmission and 0-62mph time As with the S5 coupe, the old supercharged 3.0-litre V6 is thrown out in favour of a turbocharged unit of the same capacity, cylinder count and formation.
