Jack Broadhead hired Bob Berry to race it at Goodwood, securing multiple podiums in period. In 1956 the car was painted a lighter BRG where it then placed 3rd at Silverstone and 1st at Goodwood. Later in the meeting it was heavily crashed…again. At that point most had considered it a total write off after a cartwheel at St. Mary’s. Mercifully the car was rebuilt…again. From Coventrycars.com : “Through 1956-1958 OKV 2 continued to be raced by a variety of drivers including Jack Fairman, Ron Flockhart, Peter Blond and cyclist Reg Harris. In 1958 engine changed at works from E2004-9 to E2065-9. Soon thereafter sold to Gerry Crozier. In 1960 sold, via Chequered Flag, to David Jaycox in Canada. Later owners included George Gordon, James Mace and James Catto between early 1960s and 1980. During this period, one driver was killed and car was crashed, around 1964, by A.

Finally, there's a way to get rid of those applicator-less tampons that literally no one uses while also destroying a bunch of Axe body spray. Just use the Axe as the propellant in a 3D-printed, gas-powered tampon gun . As you'll see in the assembly and demonstration video after the break, most of the parts in [HarambesLabs]' modular gun design are 3D-printed. Aside from those, you just need to add a PVC tube for a barrel, a bottle that fits the threading on the body, and a pair of o-rings to make a nice, tight seal. Snap in the piezo mechanism from a lighter, fill the bottle with an Axe cloud, and screw it on to the body. If the gas/air mixture is close enough, the compacted cotton bullet should fly. The gun is single-shot, but [HarambesLabs] is working on a mod to make it fully automatic. We love a good gun build around here, be it mostly benign or downright terrifying .

TechRadars take: We doubt Apple is done with the iPad Mini and expect to see a new model alongside the iPad Pro 2 , though whether that will be in March or later in the year is less clear. iPad Mini 5 design Hottest leaks: A 5mm thick build A fingerprint scanner built into the screen There arent many iPad Mini 5 design rumors, but theres a good chance that it will have a lot in common with the iPad Mini 4, which basically means you can expect a slim metal shell. Apple may aim to make it even slimmer and lighter than the 6.1mm thick and 299g iPad Mini 4 though, based on past form. Theres been some suggestion that Apple could even slim it down to just 5mm thick though the source of this rumor is unclear, so wed take it with a huge helping of salt. Then again, it could get thicker, as Apple is rumored to be fattening up the iPad Pro 2, in order to ditch the home button and build the fingerprint scanner directly into the display.

Actually, in writing, quite the opposite should be the case. This down stroke should be heavy, and this upstroke should be lighter. When you have this displaced pressure, as it is called, it is somebody that has a tremendously strong need to retain, which is a positive thing if you are a competitive player.

5-litre model available from £22,195. The 2-litre RF is just £900 more at £23,095 and not only comes with more power but a limited slip differential as standard. The trend for folding metal roofs has started to dwindle in recent years with only a small number of premium brands still favouring them, notably BMW and Mercedes. As such, there are no obvious rivals to the RF. Toyota’s GT86, despite being a proper coupe, isnt as refined or as comfortable as the Mazda. The RF’s interior isnt exactly plush, but it’s much nicer than the cheap and naff cockpit of the Toyota. However, the GT86 is a much sharper and more entertaining car to drive quickly; it offers similar rear-wheel drive characteristics to the RF, but the Toyota is more responsive, feels lighter and maintains its composure closer to the limit. There are cars with history, and then there is OKV 2. The second works D-Type to roll out of the factory in Coventry in 1954 was immediately handed to Sterling Moss, where he and co driver Peter Miller set a new record speed on the Mulsanne Straight. A chipper 172.97 miles per hour. Over the next years the car would be held by the hands of some of the most capable racing drivers of the era. Norman Dewis , Peter Whitehead , Tony Role , Ken Wharton and Duncan Hamilton just to name a few. It went on to a successful career in the mid to late fifties racing around the UK and European circuits, but not without a significant series of crashes and rebuilds. Jack Broadhead hired Bob Berry to race it at Goodwood, securing multiple podiums in period. In 1956 the car was painted a lighter BRG where it then placed 3rd at Silverstone and 1st at Goodwood. SEO is not about building links, it’s about building relationships to earn the links.” ― Nahid Hassan, CEO/SEO analyst/digital marketing strategist at Bizcope For those just entering the realm of SEO, it can be an overwhelming undertaking. It can be challenging to understand the basic tenants and concepts of the practices and with more than 200 ranking signals to worry about, SEO can quickly become a nightmare. For this reason, many SEO rookies turn to more “experiencedagencies or SEOs to handle the tasks, but end up with minimal results and a much lighter wallet. I suggest starting the process yourself; it’s never a bad idea to understand the process intimately, even if you seek help later. If you are still new to SEO, understanding the basics is crucial. It’s been nearly a year since our Mark McNabb provided a first look at the redesign of the GMC Acadia. Now, we have driven it. Did GMC make good on its promises of better driving dynamics, technology, and efficiency? In a word, yes. Compared to the first-generation GMC Acadia, the redesigned 2017 model is slightly smaller, a lot lighter, and positively packed with the latest technology. GMC said the newly slimmed-down Acadia positioned the model better between the not-quite- compact, not-quite- midsize Terrain crossover and the gargantuan truck- based Yukon SUV. That strategy is coming into full view that GMC has announced the Terrain will likely take on a similar diet to become smaller and lighter. Continue reading for the full review.

How much people drink on their 21st birthdays may indicate how much they will drink in the future. Investigators analyzed data from a group of 600 undergraduate student drinkers who were followed from one month before their 21st birthday to one year after. Those who drank the most on their 21st birthday also reported consuming the highest amounts of alcohol throughout the following year, the researchers found—even accounting for the subjects' drinking habits before they turned 21. We didn't expect one day's behavior to matter for an entire year of choices, but it did. This is the first study to show that drinking heavily on one specific occasion is linked to long-term increases in drinking. The association between 21st birthday drinking and subsequent drinking was stronger for students who were lighter drinkers before turning 21, indicating that 21st birthday drinking may serve as a more perilous gateway among those with limited prior drinking experience.

It is expected to use 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel Ingenium engines, which are produced at Jaguar Land Rover’s Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton. In the Discovery Sport, the 178bhp 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel achieves 0-62mph in 9.9sec and 53.3mpg combined, while the 148bhp diesel records 11.7sec and 57.6mpg. The E-Pace will be lighter than the Discovery Sport, so these figures should improve. Launching a car in such a fast-growing segment is likely to boost Jaguar’s sales. The F-Pace is the fastest-selling Jaguar yet, and a smaller SUV could do better still. The new Jaguar is set to be unveiled in May, away from the motor show circuit. It will appear after the anticipated Range Rover Coupé , which is due at the Geneva motor show in March and is set to target the US market, which is key to JLR’s SUV fortunes. The E-Pace is expected to undercut the Evoque, which starts at £30,600, and will cost significantly less than the F-Pace, priced from £35,020.

Practicality The new i30 is 4340mm long, 1795mm wide, and 1455mm high, with a wheelbase of 2650mm.
