In one of the instances, cyber-security experts were roped in after a public sector insurance company had been hit by WannaCry. “Luckily, the company had been taking a backup on a separate server so only two days of data were lost. However, when we checked the whole system, we found that there were some bugs that could leave an opening for future cyber-attacks on their recently implemented GST IT infrastructure,” a cyber-expert close to the development said. The time window established by GST for the above steps is quite narrow. Therefore, to assist in the institutionalisation of this process, GST has allowed registered ASPs or GSPs to support suppliers and buyers. The above steps and the existence of intermediaries in the process create unique security risks for vendor organisations and buyers, according to a PwC expert. “Companies now have to be more cautious since increasingly, business will move online especially with GST and new IT systems that the tax law needs,” said Kartik Shinde, Partner, EY.

"We were 2-0 up against them in South Africa (in 2015/16) and we lost 3-2. They're a very good side, and we know that." Not known as a big hitter, left-hander Ali still struck five sixes at Yorkshire's headquarters. It was major return to form given he had managed just a line fifty in 28 ODI innings since his career-best 128 at the 2015 World Cup. Ali said his innings owed much to some late advice from England assistant coach Paul Farbrace. "I actually wasn't batting that well in the nets," he said. "I went inside with Paul Farbrace, and he knows my game quite well now. "I had a chat with him, and he helped -- and I felt in a good rhythm going into this match." Ali finished things off in style with a legside pick-up six off Chris Morris's final ball of the innings. "Even towards the end of my innings there were a couple I tried to slog, and I lost my shape," he explained.

Its very little changed from the way it was more than 150 years ago, partly because it's so far away from many urban centers. It's the site of a crucial battle in April of 1862, the largest battle fought by Ulysses S. Grant before the Vicksburg campaign. This was a Confederate counteroffensive to try to regain what they had lost in Tennessee, and it was successful on the first day. Grant was surprised by the attack, and it drove the Union forces back to the Tennessee river with their backs to the river. But Grant never contemplated the possibility of losing, and the next day, he led a counter attack which won the battle for the north. The Confederates were forced to retreat. There were larger battles later in the war, but that was the first real mass bloodletting. It was a wake-up call for both sides that this was not going to be a quick or easy war.

AVDIYIVKA, UKRAINEIn the industrial zone of Avdiyivka, known as the Promzona, Russia’s war on Ukraine is close-up and personal. On other parts of the front, the two sides are hundreds of meters apart, and the fighting mainly takes the form of artillery duels, or long-range sniping. But in the Promzona, the sides are close enough to exchange insults along with small-arms fire. Avdiyivka, a Ukrainian-controlled frontline city some 600 kilometers southeast of Kyiv that boasted a pre-war population of 35,000 people, is one of the war’s hot spots. Here, the two armies are locked in a daily struggle for control of the industrial district on the city’s southern edge, which sits on strategic high ground. The Promzona has long been the scene of exhausting building-to-building urban war fought in enclosed areas, with blood spilled for every meter of territory lost or taken back from the enemy.
