MK Anand, CEO of Times Now, says that “the management discovered these thefts only when it was aired on Republic TV. It is sad that a man of his stature has turned into a thief and stolen content from Times Now to launch his own channel. This obviously was well planned since he used both these stories in the first three days of the launch.” Goswami intentionally chose not to air the recordings while he was with Times Now so that he could ensure a grand opening for his new venture, according to BCCL sources. ARG Outlier Media Asianet News Pvt Ltd controls, operates and manages the channel Republic TV. The court in its order said: “It is well settled law that an employee has to maintain confidentiality and utmost fidelity towards his employer. Accordingly, the defendants can be restrained from breaching the contractreproducing or misusing the confidential information of the plaintiff and using or telecasting the same as that would amount to infringement of the plaintiff ’s rights.

Free + from $9.99/9.99/AU$14.99 As a free app, Ferrite Recording Studio is mightily impressive – a kind of beefed-up Voice Memos, which lets you bookmark bits of recordings to refer to later, and then edit and combine multiple recordings in a multi-track editor view. But when you pay for Ferrite, it becomes a fully-fledged podcast creation studio on your iPhone. First and foremost, in-app purchases remove track and project length limits. This affords much greater scope for complex projects, which can have loads of overlaying tracks and potentially be hours in length. The paid release also adds a range of professional effects, which can help transform your project by making the audio cleaner and more engaging. But whether you pay or not, Ferrite's usable, intuitive interface should make it a tempting go-to tool for amateur podcasters, even if they're also armed with a PC or Mac.

The secondary microSD slot is a lovely touch, too – it backs up your recordings in case the first microSD card fails. The big 2.7in touchscreen is a boon, making setup and video playback superbly straightforward, and it also pops up safety camera warnings and alerts when you go over the speed limit. Mio MiVue 658 Touch Super HD DashCam £149.99 Buy now 5. Nextbase Duo: A great-value dual-camera dash cam Price: £145 The Nextbase Duo packs in two cameras for the price of one high-end dash cam. Twin 720p cameras are positioned on either edge, both of which swivel back and forth to get the perfect view of the road. The rear camera has a zoom lens that focuses in on what’s happening behind your car rather than inside it, and both lenses have a 140-degree field of view that covers all the action front and rear. One quibble is that the lower-resolution sensors can struggle to pick up number plates at nighttime, but the motion-sensing feature is a nice touch – it automatically starts recording if it detects something moving nearby, even when your car is parked.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said investigators made a mistake while probing in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, having failed to seize one of the most important video recordings. Concerning the murder of Mr. Sheretmet, the investigation is conducted by the National Police of Ukraine. We also assigned our best prosecutors there. I have to admit that an error was made during this investigation. The exact mistake is that when seizing the 201 CCTV camera, another one, as it turned out, the most important camera was not taken, and all this time investigators were lacking very important information, Lutsenko said reporting to the Verkhovna Rada on May 24. We learnt about this video footage thanks to journalists. It's a pity that this became known to the whole world, and not just to the investigation, but nevertheless these recordings are very important for the inquiry, he added.

Chief of staff blamespoor choice of words’ after recording suggests he said One Nation could ‘make some money’ on campaign packages for Queensland election candidates. Follow developments live ... 5.09am BST Shorten to Turnbull : Is the bank tax, which the government announced in its budget, tax deductible for the big banks? Turnbull says he is advised it will be. 5.08am BST Question time now. The first question is from Labor to Turnbull regarding the Ashby recordings. I will be getting advice from the Federal Police commissioner and the Minister for Justice and the attorney as we review the media reports in the course of the next day. It is the test of our character. Now when we embark on a National Disability Insurance Scheme, Mr Speaker, the test is have you paid for it? Have you paid for it? That ‘s the question. Or are you just filled up with all the rhetoric of the moment but you’re not prepared to pay the price? Are you prepared, as the Opposition Leader was, to get the plaudits from the sector, to get the plaudits from advocates for people with disability, to get the thanks from parents of disabled children but then not pay for it? This was a shameful abdication of responsibility on the part of the Labor Party.

I want to record/stream but need a good card to do exactly that with. I have an old server I will use for it with a 4c/8t Xeon 1270v2 and SSDs to record on. So far I have testet out shadowplay on my gamerig and thats not ideal, also tried a USB3 capture card that im also not pleased with. Im thinking of either the AverMedia LIVE GAMER HD 2 or a Black Magic Intensity Pro, first one have a requirement of NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 650 / AMD Radeon R7 250X or above (and I have a Quadri K600 in the server) and the black magic just cost more and is really hard to find around here. Would the Live Gamer HD2 work with my quadro card? Any other cards/boxes that should be able to get me 1080/60hz uncompressed recordings?

Universal in February announced with fanfare that it had secured the rights to Prince's catalog after the mid-1990s, when the artist exited rival label Warner, as well as unspecified recordings from Prince's earlier heyday. But Comerica Bank and Trust, which has been assigned to handle the estate's interests, conceded that the recordings under Universal's US$30 million contract may overlap with Warner's assets. "Universal has been misled and defrauded in connection with the licence agreement and insists upon rescission of the agreement and the return of its money, full stop," a label executive was quoted as saying in a partially redacted filing. Comerica asked the court to be let out of the contract, saying the estate otherwise faced the likelihood of litigation. Complicating matters, only three of the heirs have been working with L. Londell McMillan, Prince's longtime lawyer who has advised the estate on deals.

U.S. Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) received voicemails threatening to lynch him and calling him racial slurs after he called for President Donald Trump s impeachment, he said Saturday. Green, who is black, played the recordings for about 100 attendees at a town hall in Houston, according to the Houston Chronicle. They include death threats, racial epithets and graphic language. Hey Al Green, weve got an impeachment for you. Its going to be yours, one caller said. Its actually going to give you a short trial before we hang your nigger ass. (Listen to two other voicemails at the Houston Chronicle .) Well lynch all you fuckin niggers, another caller said. Youll be hanging from a tree. That caller went on to claim no one had called for Barack Obamas impeachment ( they had ), even though he was born in Kenya ( he wasnt ).

, 44, who was also sentenced to hang, and Abdallah N., who was to face the firing squad. They were convicted of collaborating with Israel. Faqha had been in charge of forming cells for Hamas's military wing in the occupied West Bank. He had spent years in an Israeli jail before being released as part of a 2011 prisoner exchange deal. Last week, Hamas released what it said was a recording of the confessions of the accused. Images allegedly showed three men, presented as the murderer and his two accomplices, confessing to their roles, although their faces did not appear. No independent bodies had access to the suspects, and the images and recordings were impossible to verify. "Widespread coercion, torture and routine deprivation of detainees' rights by Hamas security services in Gaza call into question whether these confessions were in fact voluntary or may have been extracted under duress," Omar Shakir, Human Rights Watch director for Israel and the Palestinian territories, said last week.

The FBI had no comment on whether it expected to review Trump’s reported comments for possible consideration as obstruction of justice. According to Justice Department practice and protocol, FBI agents would be expected to move quickly to secure any related forensic evidence that exists related to the Russia meeting, including original notes and other work product used to create the official document, the Justice Department official and a former prosecutor said. Authorities also would seek to determine if recordings exist of the meeting, especially since Trump himself suggested in a tweet that his Oval Office meetings with Comey were taped. And agents would attempt to interview “who else was in the room, to see if they can corroborate the notes,” and gain as much insight as possible into what Trump meant – and whether his firing of Comey was in any way aimed at derailing the investigation, Mariotti and the Justice official said.

The device is a metallic stent covered with electrodeshence its name, stentrode — that is inserted into the jugular vein in the neck via a small incision. It's then sent up to a blood vessel in the brain where it can measure electrical signals from brain cells nearby on the outside of the blood vessel wall. Non-Invasive and Effective A study published in 2016 in the journal Nature Biotechnology proved that this technique could work in sheep. The six-month long trial didn't produce scarring or inflammation as the device didn't touch brain tissue. The stentrode isn't as invasive as electrode implants which the brain often wraps in scar tissue, rendering them ineffective. Nor do its signals get muffled like electrodes attached to the scalp. “The recordings are not quite as detailed as those from directly implanted electrodes, but they’re close,” Grayden explained.
