Back in the late 1960s, Ferrari decided it wanted to create an “affordablelineup of vehicles, ones that would be able to take on vehicles like the Porsche 911, and the Dino name – which honored AlfredoDinoFerrari – was born. The idea was that the Dino name would be used on non-V-12-powered vehicles, while the V-12 models would continue under the Ferrari name. Between 1968 and 1976, Ferrari launched a few different “Dinomodels, including the Dino 206 GT, Dino 246 GT and GTS, and the Dino 308 GT4 2+2. In 1976, the Dino name was discontinued in favor of the Ferrari name. More recently rumors have been flying that the Dino would make a return, and in mid-2015, Sergio Marchionne even stated that Ferrari would bring back the nameplate – it wasnt a question of if, but when. It’s been a long time coming, and we’ve seen what looked to be a 458- mule testing back in late 2015, but since then the trail has gone cold.

Number of retweets can serve as a normative cue that leads a person to presume that an unverified rumor is true, increasing the likelihood that they will share it with others, according to the study published in Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking.

As he served in France with the 357th Infantry Regiment, Clotfelter noted his unit's movements, the weather, commented on the food and briefly described his duties. On Aug. 25, 1918, he was sent to the front lines, noting, Some of the boys seem to be scared. Others don't mind it. My first night didn't bother me at all. The next night, he is less blas about his situation, writing Most of the boys seem to have enough war already. I am one of them. On Oct. 13, 1918, Clotfelter began hearing rumors of an armistice, but the rumors proved false, and he would soon learn that the worst was yet to come. On Oct. 27 he writes, Fine day but we did not enjoy it much. ... One shell wounded three this evening. Have dysentery & fever. Am so weak I can hardly get around. Irregular meals, dead horses, bad water, insufficient covering & constant nerve tension are enough to kill anyone.

In November 2015, Victor Collins was found dead in a hot tub in James Bateshome in Bentonville, Arkansas. Bates was charged with murder. During their investigation, police discovered that he owned an Amazon Echo —a device that, upon voice activation through the “wakewordAlexa,” answers questions, provides sports scores, and “[h]ears you from across the room with far-field voice recognition, even while music is playing.” Alexa, in other words, both speaks to users and listens to and records them. The police sought and received a warrant to obtain audio recordings made by the Echo. Concerned that “rumors of an Orwellian federal criminal investigation into the reading habits of Amazon’s customers could frighten countless potential customers,” Amazon filed a motion to quash the warrant on Feb. 17, 2017. Buried in that motion was a striking claim: that Alexa’s responses to user queries are protected by the First Amendment.

One of the few Samsung Galaxy S8 details we werent totally confident about was its screen resolution, but that too has seemingly now been revealed, with the phone likely sporting a high resolution, but one that you might not benefit from by default. In an image shared by leaker @UniverseIce , we can see a screen on what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy S8, giving you the option to choose between three different resolutions. The top end one is 1440 x 2960, known as WQHD+. Thats slightly sharper than the 1440 x 2560 QHD screen on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge , and those extra pixels, along with the W in the name, match up with rumors that this is going to be a super widescreen phone with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, similar to the LG G6 . Credit: @UniverseIce Lower by default? But while 1440 x 2960 is seemingly what the resolution will top out at, in the image its set to 1080 x 2220, or FHD+.

Which phones will have Snapdragon 835? Sony launched the Xperia XZ Premium at MWC 2017 last month The incredibly popular Snapdragon 820 was used in over 200 Android phones around the world, so there's a good chance whatever handset you have your eye on this year will sport the chip. We already know the Sony Xperia XZ Premium will have the new chipset inside when it's finally released to the market. Whether it will be the first phone you can buy with the Snapdragon 835 inside currently seems unlikely, as Sony aims to release the phone in 'late spring'. Current rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will feature the Snapdragon 835, but only in some markets, such as the US. Other markets - such as the UK - are rumored to get the Exynos 8895 chipset instead, but in previous Samsung phones the Exynos version has usually proved faster than the Snapdragon option.

It's time once again to begin gearing up for Google IO, the search giant's annual developer conference that's always full of surprises. Actually, scratch that: Google is calling this year's event an "outdoor developer festival", so grab your party hat and get ready to celebrate all things Android, Chrome, and more. The Google IO 2017 dates are May 17 through May 19 , and it's all going down at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., where the gathering was held in 2016. We're still digesting everything Google announced at last year's edition, including Google Assistant, Google Home , the Allo and Duo apps, details on Android Nougat (though it didn't have that name at the time), the Daydream VR platform, Android Wear 2.0 and Android Instant Apps. This year's event looks to be just as exciting, or at least we're led to believe there will be extra pep in Google's step due to how the IO dates and location were revealed; earlier this year, Google came up with an elaborate puzzle for developers to solve to unearth the details.
