99 and $24.99 to have more access to their favorite streamers, with higher subscription fees naturally bringing bigger perks. Merchandise sales is an interesting one. Twitch has partnered with an apparel company and if you'd like to start selling your channel's brand you can post an image of a branded T-shirt or hoodie to your channel dashboard. If someone chooses to buy one the apparel company handles everything from selling to manufacturing to shipping and you make the largest amount of the profit. The new affiliate program offers an easier way to make money for those just starting out and haven't reached partner levels but whose channels look promising. The threshold to access this is much lower and at the moment the money-making opportunity only takes the form of something called Bits to Cheer, though other revenue streams such as advertising and subscriptions are due to be added in the future.

As a result, the customisation process can perhaps be a bit tedious and fiddly (particularly the cable-shortening clips), but once youve found your ideal combination you shouldnt have to adjust it again. What an array of attachments. Its worth mentioning that two separate sets of the Jaybird X3 we received had the medium silicone tips (the ones attached to the headphones on shipping) distinctly warped. It seemed like the silicone had shrivelled a bit and, as a result, neither held its shape nor sealed correctly. None of the other tips had this issue so we assume it's a packaging problem. The fin-style securing method is a god-send for the bespectacled user, as over-ear and on-ear headphones can end up being painful or just incompatible altogether with the arms of your glasses. They also work deceptively well at keeping the ear-pieces secure when moving about.

By giving color options of products they put into the cart or recommending similar products that they may like, you are actually broadening the horizon of your brand in more ways than one. You can also segregate the cart abandoners on the basis of what caused them to do so. By implementing your knowledge regarding shopping habits, stage of a particular subscriber’s journey, etc. we have a few ideas you can make use of: First time visitor/ price-sensitive visitor: a discount works the best Those deterred by shipping cost: offer free shipping If someone puts a product in the cart and it is out-of-stock: send an email when the product is back in stock This email by MCM is an excellent example of cart abandonment emails. The top menu is in place and there's a major focus on reminding the subscriber about what they left in the cart. Apart from all this, they have cross-sold well by adding some similar products that the subscriber may like.

do they carry on shipping or expose us as consumers? I would hope that security is getting better year-on-year with these things. I don't think so. I think it is getting worse. Everyone is piling into the market, everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon, doing cheaper products with less security and it seems like we are buying it. Don't worry about that, it's fine

Helix Mode has the drone take an upwardly spiraling path, and lastly, QuickShot can automatically create 10-second videos from your flights Measuring in at a scant 143 x 143 x 55mm, your morning coffee is probably bigger than this mini drone. Despite its diminutive size, the DJI is no small fry, with the ability to fly up to 31 miles-per-hour and a maximum of 16 minutes of total flight time. In terms of video capture, the DJI Spark is equipped with a 12-megapixel 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor that can capture Full HD video at 30p and 3,968 2,976 resolution images. In front of the digital sensor is a 25mm lens (35mm equivalent) that captures an effective 81.8-degree field-of-view. The DJI Spark is available for preorder now for $499 (about 390, AU$670) and will begin shipping mid-June this year. DJI is also selling a Fly More kit that includes the drone with a set of replacement propellers, an additional battery, battery charging hub, and a shoulder bag for $699 (about 540, AU$940).

Stratasys' acquisition of MakerBot has made a lot of people angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. The history of MakerBot is not written yet, but the general consensus is that [Pettis] only played a very limited role in the downfall of MakerBot and desktop 3D printing as a whole. Since leaving MakerBot for greener pastures, [Pettis] has put his money to work; he's also an investor in the laser cutter startup Glowforge . While Glowforge has seen its share of troubles including a ridiculous policy on field-replaceable laser tubes, and perpetual delays for production units, Glowforge will be shipping soon. It's unclear how the Glowforge will ultimately be received. But [Pettis'] continues to put his money where his mouth is (and into hardware startups) with this acquisition of Other Machine Co.. You can download Absolute Linux here The Core Project offers up the tiniest of Linux distros, shipping three variants on which you can build your own environments. The lightest edition is Core, weighing in at just 11MB, which comes without a graphical desktop but you can always add one after installation. If that's too intimidating, try TinyCore (currently v8.0). The OS is only 16MB in size and offers a choice of FLTK or FLWM graphical desktop environments. You can also choose to install CorePlus, which measures a relatively hefty 106MB. This spin offers a choice of lightweight window managers such as IceWM and FluxBox. CorePlus also includes support for Wi-Fi and non-US keyboards. TinyCore itself saves on size by requiring a wired network connection for initial setup. There are 32-bit and 64-bit versions as well as builds for select ARM devices such as the Raspberry Pi .
