Musical note frequencies and 555 timer circuit The way to do it is simple really. Each music note has a corresponding frequency . For a desired note, your circuit need only cycle a speaker at that note's frequency. And a simple way to supply that frequency is using a 555 timer circuit in astable mode like the one shown. In the circuit, the output frequency is determined by capacitor C, and resistors R1 and R2. You can clearly see that dependency by looking at the frequency formula for the 555 timer's output. Resistances for musical notes and 555 timer circuit A typical way of manipulating that formula is to use a fixed value for R2, and then to add a different resistance to it for each desired frequency, as shown in the modified circuit. For now let's insert a variable resistor Rn. In the diagram you can see that we first added Rn to the frequency formula, and that we then rearranged the formula to solve for Rn instead.

Surround sound. The future of audio, the only way to experience your movies, games, TV and music, right? Well, actually, no. Sure, surround is great at times, but usually, good old-fashioned stereo will do fine. Surround setups need lots of speakers and lots of cables, and everything has to be in exactly the right place to get the balance correct. Which is all a bit of a pain, especially if you only want the surround on when youre watching the occasional movie. This is where the Philips Fidelio E6 comes in. The Philips Fidelio E6 is a 5.1 surround sound system disguised as a pair of stereo speakers and a sub. Intended to be used in stereo mode most of the time, for listening to music and for normal television, it can transform into surround mode in seconds for when you want the full immersive sonic experience for movies and games. Design The system consists of two main speaker units, two satellite speakers and a subwoofer.

As you can see, the iPhone 8 design has no 3.5mm headphone jack and uses a Lightning port at the base. It also has dual-speaker grilles. MORE photos have now emerged online showing the metal mold used to form the bodyshell of the iPhone 8 alongside the equivalent molds for the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. The image, which rocked up on Chinese social network Weibo , shows the 5.8in iPhone 8 in the middle, with the 4.7in iPhone 7s on the right-hand side, and the larger 5.5in iPhone 7s Plus on the left; while the handset is smaller, the iPhone 8 has a larger display due to the screen curvature on the edges, it may also not have a physical control key on the front allowing more room for screen. You can see that the iPhone 8 has a vertical camera arrangement while the iPhone 7s has a single circular module, and the iPhone 7s Plus has a horizontal dual-sensor array.
