The F15 entered service three years later. It has evolved. A groundattack capability was added a decade later. It was a triumphant export. Its production line is still functioning and will be until 2019, almost 50 years since its first flight. The Seven, under Caterham’s guardianship, has mimicked its gradual modernisation, sprouting more sophisticated suspension, offering the choice of a roomier chassis, moving from Ford to Vauxhall to Rover and back to Ford again in the engine bay, and still racing, still winning. Last year the firm sold more cars than it has in 20 years. The Sprint was a significant part of that: all 60 examples were sold out a week after its launch at the Goodwood Revival. Its popularity with customers – and their apparent indifference to the £5k premium over a factory-built 160 S – will not have gone unnoticed. Dont be surprised if Caterham delves back into the sentimental memory box before too long. I hope so. There are few better or more charming time machines.

This is expected to be a landmark handset, Nokia’s triumphant return to the smartphone space with a flagship device running the latest version of Google’s Android software. Here are five things you should know about the Nokia P1 ahead of its launch. Nokia P1 Design Display: It'll Be Premium Metal Glass In terms of the aesthetic, very little is known about the Nokia P1, however, we have already seen the Nokia 6 unveiled with a design language that does look familiar to fans of Nokia’s early Windows Phone days; clean, minimalist, quasi-industrial with a fairly squared-off shape. It’s expected that the Nokia P1 will look similar to keep things “on brand,” so to speak, though of course it should be more refined as a higher-end model.

Kenya's General Elections are approximately six months away and since the last election (in 2013), the country has seen the "best of times" AND the "worst of times" - depending on one's partisan lens. The country saw its president and deputy escape crimes-against-humanity conviction at The Hague. Kenyans then witnessed the "triumphant" return of its long-lost son and America's 44th president Barack H. Obama. Also making a trip to Kenya thereby adding more sheen to the country's international profile were Pope Francis, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. Kenyans have seen implementation of major development projects including the highly-touted and high profile Standard Gauge Railroad (SGR) and not surprisingly, these mega-projects have all been mired in corruption and gross malfeasance. The country has experience (annual) economic growth that ranks among the best in the world, certainly in Africa.

Quick: What's the best phone you've ever used? For many, the answer is Nokia 3310, a nearly indestructible phone that predates the smartphone era by nearly a decade. Launched in 2000 by then-gigantic Finnish phone maker Nokia, the 3310 was compact , sturdy, reliable and its battery lasted forever. Now, according to a report by reliable leaker of all things mobile, Evan Blass, the Nokia 3310 is poised for a triumphant return. SEE ALSO: Nokia finally returns to the smartphone market OK, we're not sure about the "triumphant" bit, as the report , posted over on VentureBeat , is scarce on details. Buried in the President's triumphant declaration, however, was a meaningful disconnect: by no means had the TalibanharboredOsama bin Laden. Grateful for American support during their conflict with the Russians, the Taliban hoped to retain a good relationship with the U.S., but bin Laden had bombed two U.S. embassies and an American warship. He was “just a damn liability” for the Taliban: far from “harboringbin Laden they had tried for eleven months to have the Bush Administration take him into custody.(1) No, the Taliban were crushed because they wouldn't yield, in negotiations with the Bush Administration, in granting a pipeline right-of-way across Afghanistan for Unocal, an American oil company.
