McGee and No. 3 hitter Logan Warmoth combined to go 6-for-9 with two extra-base hits, two RBI and four runs scored. North Carolina starter Tyler Baum allowed two hits in three innings. Those would be the only hits for Boston College in the game, and no Eagles player reached base after a North Carolina error to start the third inning. This game was a mismatch on paper. North Carolina came into the day with a 44-11 record; Boston College was 25-27. The final score indicates how wide the talent gap between the two programs is right now. Wake Forest 5, Georgia Tech 4 A four-run ninth inning propelled Wake Forest to a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech appeared to be in control of the game until the final inning. The Yellow Jackets got on the board in the bottom of the first on Kyle McCann's RBI double and would add single runs in the third, sixth and seventh for a commanding 4-1 lead.

Grant was criticized for having been surprised and for the large number of casualties; 13,000 who were killed, wounded or missing. But Lincoln stuck with him. He said, I cant spare this man; he fights! A kind of major factor in the ultimate Union victory was Lincolns willingness to stick with Grant when a lot of other people said Grant should have been fired. But Lincoln kept Grant in command, and the rest is history, as we know. James M. The contest's biggest moments belonged to Cross and Asuka for the most part. This was Riot's biggest NXT match to date, but it's hard to say it had much of an effect on her standing with the brand. Seeing her in a less crowded space will make it easier to what she's all about. Up: The Authors of Pain Rezar and Akam are learning on the job, picking up the art of being steamrolling behemoths. Their victory over #DIY at TakeOver was the latest excellent match on their resume. The NXT Tag Team Championship ladder match was clearly the second-best bout of the night behind the instant classic between Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne. #DIY gets much of the credit for the quality of the contests during this feud, but The Authors of Pain aren't deadwood that Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have carried around. They've shown impressive presence. They look comfortable bashing and bowling over their foes.

A few weeks ago, President Donald Trump seemed to have triggered a teensy constitutional crisis when he fired FBI Director James Comey . Among the shifting kaleidoscope of reasons for Comey’s termination was his investigation into Russia’s role in Trump’s election victory. The problem for Trump—which could rise to actual obstruction of justice charges—is that he fired Comey after inviting him to the White House, clearing the room of witnesses, and then allegedly telling him , “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go.” In case that message didnt get through, he also allegedly added, “He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.” (The case for obstruction has since been bolstered by reports of other witnesses and similar incidents .)

Tzu Ying Tai managed to pull a match point back for Chinese Taipei and edged Ji Hyun Sung 21-16, 26-24, but it proved the nation's only point of the fixture as they suffered a swift quarter-final exit. Son Wan Ho was next in action for South Korea, and he proceeded to thunder back from a 13-21 loss in his opener against Tien Chen Chou before nudging his way closer to qualification, per Premier Badminton League: South Korea's other stars built on Son's performance and finished off a 3-1 win to seal the result in routine fashion, albeit not coming without its share of slight scares. Their reward for victory is a semi-final berth opposite fellow qualifiers Thailand, who are hoping to reach the Sudirman Cup final for the first time in their history, while South Korea chase a fourth overall title.

Including his victory, Dixon has finished inside the top 10 on 10 different occasions in the Indy 500. He came in fourth and eighth in the past two years, respectively, and based on how his car looked during qualifying, there is every reason to believe he will be in the mix and vying for a win once again this year. Fernando Alonso Drivers from other racing series often try their hand at running for glory in the Indianapolis 500, and the biggest example of that in 2017 is Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard is a Formula One star with 32 career race wins and two world championships to his credit. Despite having no IndyCar experience, Alonso made the Fast Nine and qualified fifth, which suggests he will be a contender Sunday. Per BBC's Andrew Benson, however, Alonso is tempering expectations and not getting too excited about his run: While Alonso has plenty to overcome in terms of competing with IndyCar veterans, he is a longtime racer in his own right.
