This is a comprehensive London Tube app, with a journey planner, live departure boards and more. On the Watch, London Tube Tracker shows details for stations you've picked as favourites on the iPhone, down to what trains will be arriving when. Meanwhile, on the Glances screen it'll tell you how long it is until your next or last train home and how long that journey should take. The cool live Tube map, showing trains shuffling round London is restricted to the iPhone version, sadly. Still, the route planning and line statuses on the Watch are useful. What are the tasks you really want to achieve? Pick six from the hundreds of icons on the iPhone and they'll appear in the Watch app or the Streaks complication on the Watch face. So whether you want to read more, practise a musical instrument or walk the dog, there are icons you can invoke and reminders it can offer.

When I talk to her, I think - is she really my daughter? She is very mature for her age. I can see something different to her then. She is also very musical. She loves performing, she loves to learnt musical instruments. I think because her dad is a member of the band, he plays all the musical instruments. I was in the theatre before, so maybe she got it all from there.

Over the last 43 years, the Peoples Choice Awards has been the award show of the people, voted on by fans with results that you wouldnt necessarily see at the Oscars, the Golden Globes, or the Grammys. Joel McHale hosted the show, held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, chaperoned by eight babies, which he claimed were part of the Angelina and Brad divorce settlement. He explained that the babies were there as consolation prizes. If you dont win an award you get one of the adorable babies to take home, he explained. Tyler Perry looked quite excited at the prospect, while Blake Shelton looked stunned, like it might be too real. Only a fraction of the award shows 64 categories are announced live, but the show has plenty of action, drama, laughs and musical performances.

WHEN Cheryl Tan was seven, she spent most of her time alone at school. She was drawn to books and they were often her best companion. “In school, I was that strange Cheryl who lied about doing her homework and was socially awkward,” she reminisced. Her parents, who are musical theatre enthusiasts, thought it was a good idea to enrol her into speech and drama classes at Helen O’Grady Academy. The classes turned out to be a breath of fresh air, adding colours to her life and a sense of belonging. Hence, it didnt take too long for the arts to ignite a fiery passion within Tan. She got more involved in the arts after enrolling into Sekolah Sri Cempaka, one of the few schools in Malaysia to pioneer a curriculum that integrated the performing arts. Apart from starring in the school’s annual musical productions, Tan also participated in the local theatre scene by joining The Young KL Singers at the age of 14 under the guidance of its founder and established choral conductor, Susanna Saw.

" I'd be much more impressed if they opened these ancient granite sarcophagi and found a Trump figurine inside one, and a musical Herman Munster figurine inside another. Nostradamus probably saw that coming a mile away. Onwards and downwards . . .

Onyeabor was simply referred to as "The Chief”. He was known for having created many opportunities for the people in his community. In his early 30s, he traveled the world to study record manufacturing, so that he could build, "the greatest record manufacturing business in all of West Africa." After those successful years as an artist and record label President in the 1980's, he opened a flour mill and food processing business. In 1987 these new business ventures saw him awarded West African Industrialist of the Year—just two years after the release of his most successful song "When The Going is Smooth and Good", and what should have been the height of his musical career. He was given the honorary title "Justice of the Peace"—a local judicial position elected by the community to provide independent legal ruling. In the early 1990's, he became the President of Enugu's Musician's Union and Chairman of the city's local football team, The Enugu Rangers.

A over a month ago, Ryan Gosling LITERALLY swept Ellen DeGeneres off her feet when he stopped by her show to promote La La Land. But did you know the musical flick almost starred the comedienne?! On Wednesday, DeGeneres shared a "behind-the-scenes trailer" for Ryan's movie which Ellen revealed just before showing the clip that Emma Stone wasn't the producers' first choice -- it was actually the beloved daytime host! Video: La La Land Stars Emma Stone & Ryan Spill On Her Dirty Dancing Meltdown!' The HIGHlarious trailer shows director Damien Chazelle and producer Marc Platt talking about the AH-Mazing chemistry between RyGos and Ellen as it cuts to clips of Ryan holding the funny woman! LOLz! Ch-ch-check out what it might be like to see Ellen star alongside Ryan in La La Land ( above) and remember to be thankful she didn't get cast -- or Miles Teller and Emma Watson for that matter !

We have these musical lines that weave together on their own. They could be independent, but the melodies weave together in a magical way. Basically, that's what counterpoint is - independent lines that could otherwise exist on their own but work together." Works with descriptive titles, such as Messiaen's L'ascension , can guide a listener (possessed with an active imagination) through a specific, even mind-boggling event. The piece might also serve as a meditation or means for exploring the subject - in this case, a tenet of Christian faith. Messiaen's relentlessly challenging Livre Du Saint-Sacrement is a supreme example. Are the works intended to persuade? I asked Christopher ("Houli" to his loyal fanbase) for a hit on this idea - keeping in mind that Franck's B minor choral appeals to an appreciation of music for its own sake. Christopher Houlihan.

The romantic movie musical La La Land has become a runaway success and Oscar favorite . But while both Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling took home Golden Globes for their lead performances as the lovestruck couple pursuing their dreams, they weren't always the actors chosen to play the ambitious duoor at least, not according to a spoof on The Ellen Show. It turns out Emma Stone was not their first choice, the comedian deadpanned on her show, cutting to an alternative trailer featuring herself playing the lead female role, Mia. When we were casting up the movie, part of the appeal to me was that, you know they're going to be a couple, director Damien Chazelle explains in the clip. You can see them and imagine them together. Cue Gosling sweeping DeGeneres up into his arms. You have two actors who have an onscreen chemistry that I think is one for the ages, adds producer Marc Platt.

The campaign includes buys on musical.ly (the popular music video social network for tweens and teens), and for the first time ever for a CW show, VOD, to target the millennial audience on their preferred viewing platforms. Despite the marketing campaigns millennial focus, The CW president Mark Pedowitz argued that the Archie brand does have some value to viewers. The importance of the IP was it gives you a hook and something to tag it with; it started a dialogue that Archie was coming back, said Pedowitz, adding that The CWs audience isnt as young as one would guess: its linear median age is around 43 (though its digital median age is 20 years younger than that). He expects at least some old-school Archie fans will be intrigued enough to give Riverdale a try. If those people tune in and dont like it, at least they checked it out, said Pedowitz.

Nicolas Hodges (Wergo) Discs of Walter Zimmermann ’s works seem to come along every few years , providing reminders of what a quietly singular and enigmatic figure in contemporary European music he is. Nicolas Hodgescollection covers Zimmermann’s most recent piano pieces, all composed between 2001 and 2006. There are six works here, but easily the most substantial is Voces Abandonadas, a two-part cycle lasting almost 40 minutes that was inspired by the writings of the Italian-born Argentinian poet Antonio Porchia (1885-1968). Porchia’s aphorisms circulated widely in Argentina during the years of military dictatorship and were eventually published in Spain in 1982 as Voces Abandonadas. Zimmermann made sound representations of each of them, and these musicalsentences” – 514 altogether, rarely more than one bar long and composed, diary-like, over the course of a year – follow one another without breaks, sometimes resulting in stark contrasts of mood and style.

Get it, Kate! We ALL know that James Corden can sing -- whether he's heading Into The Woods , getting his Karaoke on , or performing a five minute musical . But the comedian sure loves to dance too!
