Counter-terror police were searching an address at Dorset Avenue in Manchester's Moss Side, on Friday, as part of ongoing investigations into Monday's Manchester Arena attack. According to eyewitnesses, at least two men were arrested overnight. "There was maybe like 30 police officers covering the whole street, five or six vehicles, maybe 20 armed police officers ten unarmed; and they were covering the whole street. They had two guys down on the floor, if not a third, we don't know, it was a bit dark," said Anita Santinelli, an eyewitnesses who lives opposite the address in question. The move followed an arrest of another suspect and raid at the Fadeaway barbershop on Princess Road in the same part of the city. Ten people have been arrested in connection with the attack. Two suspects have been released without charge, while eight suspects remain in custody.

World number one Andy Murray said he had shrugged off his latest bout of illness and will be fit for the French Open getting under way on Sunday. Murray, the 2016 runner-up to Novak Djokovic, admitted he had been sick since arriving in the French capital on Sunday. "I felt sick in the afternoon and didn't feel great on Monday but I feel better. Now it's just a cough," the 30-year-old British star said Friday. Murray has been plagued by poor health for large parts of 2017, suffering flu, shingles as well as an elbow injury. Not surprisingly, his form has reflected his physical travails. He suffered a shock fourth round defeat to Mischa Zverev at the Australian Open. On clay, he lost in the third round in Monte Carlo, made the semis in Barcelona, was a third-round loser in Madrid before an opening defeat in Rome to Fabio Fognini. "It's frustrating -- it's the third time I have been ill this year," he admitted.

Hopefully the Duffers can handle this.' I didn't sleep Thursday night and I got the call Friday morning saying, 'The Duffers want to Skype you on Sunday morning and they want to fly you to L.A. next week for the test deal.' I was like, 'Holy shit!' I Skyped the Duffers Sunday morning and we got a call Monday morning [saying] the test deal is off the plate, it's an offer. And I was standing with my mom and I was like, 'Are you kidding me?!' And we can expect Montgomery's new character to feel very familiar to horror fans. "The Duffers were like, 'We want somebody like Jack Nicholson in The Shining .' [Billy's] wild, he's unpredictable. Every day I go to set, I have some sort of new input, like I'll sit down with the Duffers and be like, 'What do you think about this line?' I've got prosthetics, I've got a crazy car, I've got earrings and tats and it's so wild.

One of Australia's biggest draw cards, the Sydney Vivid light show, got underway Friday with police vowing to take to the skies, streets and waterways in the wake of the terror attack in Britain this week. Some 2.5 million people are expected to take in more than 90 light and sound installations scattered across the city during the 23-night annual festival, the world's largest of its kind. While there has been no direct threat to Vivid, authorities are eager to reassure visitors, many of them tourists, following the bombing at a pop concert in Manchester on Monday that left 22 dead and dozens injured, many of them children. A "high-visibility policing strategy" will see extra officers patrolling with "firearm explosive dogs" carrying out searches. "We have police in the air, we have police on water and we have police on the ground," New South Wales state Assistant Police Commissioner Mick Fitzgerald told reporters.
