Once again, Mazda’s strategy was one of caution: chassis 003 would run in 767 specifications, while chassis 001 and 002 would run as 767Bs. This time, the outcome was a bit more predictable, with chassis 001 finishing the race in seventh place overall, followed by chassis 002 in ninth and chassis 003 in 12 th . In the GTP class (which, in fairness, consisted only of the Mazda entries), the cars finished first through third. Chassis 767-003 was upgraded to 767B specifications following the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and at its next outing, the October 1989 Fuji 1000 kilometers, qualified 19 th and finished the race in 11 th place, or second in the four-car GTP field. Its 1990 season began with a transmission failure at the Fuji 500 kilometers in March, followed by a rainout and race cancellation at the Fuji 1000 kilometers in April. The car next appeared at the 1990 24 Hours of Le Mans, but this time, was Mazda’s safety net, backing up the all-new Mazda 787 endurance racers.

Spanish prosecutors said in November that Operation Variola had helped them mount the case against Firtash. The same source says that Firtash and his associates' connection to De Fortuny does not extend beyond the purchase of the property and therefore the case is weak. Grinda was the prosecutor for the Troika case and has a longstanding relationship with Western intelligence agencies, having worked on several joint cases. Most notably, according to the Wikileaks US cables, with Alexander Litvinenko, the former Russian intelligence office who switched sides and was poisoned in London in 2006. Firtash arrives pic.twitter.com/8cFfrP8opIIsobel Koshiw (@IKoshiw) February 21, 2017 When Firtash arrived at Vienna's Court of Appeal with his wife Lada on Feb. 21 he seemed confident and jovial. The Austrian prosecutor representing the U.S. appeal to have the oligarch extradited appeared reluctant, read from handwritten notes, and spoke for less than five minutes.

The latest Sony RX100 V is a tour de force with outstanding image quality, equally impressive 4K videos, superb slow motion modes, jaw-dropping 24fps burst performance and a high-quality electronic viewfinder. However, £1,000 is a painful amount to spend on a compact camera. It’s telling that Sony continues to sell all five iterations of the RX100, with prices starting at £350 for the original model that first appeared in 2012. READ NEXT: The best compact, CSC and DSLR cameras of 2017 – our favourite snappers For me, the Canon G7 X Mark II is the camera this Panasonic must aspire to beat. It omits a viewfinder, 4K video and slow motion but its 24-100mm (4.2x) zoom is more versatile than the Sony’s 24-70mm (2.9x), the touchscreen and exposure compensation dial make it easier to use and the £550 price is much easier to swallow. The Panasonic LX15's core specifications are closer to the Sony.

All the bodies were found to be inclined at a plane of about 30-degrees different from almost everything else in the Solar System. Brown said the odds of these orbits all occurring randomly are about 1 in 100. But calculations revealed the orbits could be influenced by a massive planet way out beyond the orbit of Pluto, about 200 times further than the distance from the Sun to the Earth. This planet would be Neptune-sized, roughly 10 times more massive than Earth. It hasnt been found yet, but the hunt is on by large telescopes around the world, and a new citizen science project allows people around the world to join in the search. The latest findings of by de León and team could help point the way to where Planet 9 might be lurking. Source: PhysOrg The post Planet 9 Can't Run Forever. In this case, the Larsen Ice Shelf is seaborne section of the larger Larsen Glacier, which flows southeast past Mount Larsen and enters the Ross Sea just south of Victoria Land. These shelves often act as buttresses, holding back glaciers that flow down to the coast, thus preventing them from entering the ocean and contributing to rising sea levels. The rift in the Larsen C Ice Shelf. Credit: NASA/John Sonntag In the past twenty-two years, the Larsen A and B ice shelves (which were situated further north along the Antarctic Peninsula) both collapsed into the sea. This resulted in the dramatic acceleration of glaciers behind them, as larger volumes of ice were able to flow down the coast and drop into the ocean. While Larsen C appeared to still be stable, in November of 2016 , NASA noted the presence of a large crack in its surface. This crack was about 110 kilometers (68 mi) long and was more than 91 m (299 ft) wide, reaching a depth of about 500 m (1,600 ft).

If EHT sees something else, something we didn't expect at all, then that means Einstein's General Relativity got it wrong. Not only that, but it means we don't really understand gravity. In physics circles they say that it's never smart to bet against Einstein. He's been proven right time and time again. To find out if he was right again, we'll have to wait until 2018.
