About 2 months ago I wrote about trying a tempered glass screen protector . I'm going to say they work great. I'm a fan of the Omoton brand ones , they make them for almost every glass fronted device. About 2 weeks into iPhone stewardship, my 9-year-old texted to report her first screen break. I was concerned and highly interested -- did just the protector break, or the phone's actual screen? The screen protector worked wonderfully, it shattered but stuck to the undamaged screen. The phone remained usable even with the protector cracked. When next I saw her, we replaced it with the 2nd in the 2-pack and off on her merry way she went. I was actually putting the wrenches back in their plasti-form wrench box neatly for once. One slipped from my hand and struck my waiting iPhone midscreen. A small impact spot, like a bullet shot, had several spiderweb veins reaching across the protector.

An artist's rendering of a proposed 8-fan tilt wing vehicle. Image courtesy of Airbus/A3. According to Lyasoff, the aircraft would be self-piloted, doesnt need a runway and can automatically detect and avoid obstacles and other flying machines. It's a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) vehicle designed to be 100% electric. The division hopes to make it the first certified passenger aircraft without a pilot. Vahana is just one of three projects being undertaken by the aerospace giant in the realm of urban air mobility — others include a flying bus called CityAirbus and a drone parcel delivery service soon to be tested on the campus of the National University of Singapore. With flying, you don't need to pour billions into concrete bridges and roads, said Enders at the conference. Airbus hopes its flying vehicle, along with its other projects, could eventually operate in the same way as car sharing apps such as Uber and Lyft.

John Krasinski, Hollywood actor and The Devil Wears Prada' s number one fan, wasn't always synonymous with The Office or being one half of the cutest celebrity couple ever . In fact, Krasinski, like many other hallowed actors before him, cut his teeth in the entertainment industry by appearing on one of television's most beloved franchises: Law & Order, where he appeared on an episode of the Criminal Intent offshoot as a high school basketball player in 2004, according to IMDB . In a post shared on Twitter early on Monday morning, Krasinski shared a throwback to his appearance on the show, wryly captioning it with the series' infamous phrase, these are their stories and adding a onomatopoeia of the theme song. Lance Flores was born on a military base in Germany, but lived out much of his childhood in Colorado until finding his way to Kansas City, MO seven years ago to complete his graphic design degree at the Kansas City Art Institute. He found the city inviting and fell in love with the friendly, West Plaza neighborhood where he has lived ever since. Lance works as an Art Director at Baldwin , a local clothing and lifestyle brand, and takes on frequent freelance photography, design and mural commissions. A few years after graduating, Lance felt like he needed a change and began looking for a new apartment. “I was living by myself at the time, in this apartment that had a lot of old world character, but lacked basic first world essentials like central heating and a legit air conditioner. I used to switch my bedroom based on the season because one room had a ceiling fan and the other had a heater.

Ideas often reshaped into ‘Make me, rich or more powerful, and you’ll benefit from it.’ or ‘Let us raise our profits and it will prove to enrich everyone.’ ‘Buy this thing or idea and become happy/safe/rich/powerful.’ And since these ideas currently provide the best jobs, anyone in a great office and view, will be securely locked up in this rationale until the shit hits the fan, like in some banks in 2008. Because most people are willing, collaborative, positive kind people, they assume what others promise them is to be trusted. We slowly see better and better, not all promises are in our interest. From corporate commercials to political adverbs we are being sold a dream or fears, in return for money, transferral of power and loss of safety (both military as in quality of food and healthcare). Be even a bit more suspicious of NGO’s. What? Yes, they get funded to heal the effects of the system, but never really change the root of the trouble.

We've done a lot of pieces of EAS-tuned BMWs. The tuning firm known as European Auto Source , out of Anaheim, California, has been doing some of the best work on BMWs, Porsches and Mercedes' for years now. We're fans of their work and especially their shop cars. In this latest episode of The Smoking Tire, we take a look at a shop EAS BMW M4 . Last week, Matt Farah posted the video of him driving a fan's track-ready BMW M4 . It had 525 wheel-hp, Moton adjustable suspension and some cool looks. The only problem with this M4 was the fact that it was too much to handle on public roads. So what about this 600 wheel-hp BMW M4, tuned by EAS? Actually, it's a bit more civilized. Despite making a lot more power and a lot more torque, the way the EAS tune creates the power is far more manageable than in the previous car. It's still insanely fast, and probably too fast for public roads, but it's definitely an easier car to drive.

Where else are you going to find a shovel-wielding knight battling flying roto-rats? There's even a Shovel Knight amiibo toy and additional content coming in the form of free DLC! It's hard to go wrong with Mario, and Super Mario 3D Land is quite possibly the plumber's best handheld outing ever. Featuring the same kind of block-bashing, enemy-stomping, pipe-entering fun that made Mario a household name, this game ups the ante with wonderfully creative level design and whimsical power-ups like a boomerang suit and the Tanooki outfit from Super Mario Bros. 3. The game makes great use of the system's stereoscopic 3D capabilities, and there are surprises hidden around every turn, including a ton of challenging bonus levels that don't become available until after you've beaten the main game. If you want frantic action and an endless supply of Nintendo fan service, look no further than Super Smash Bros.

Final Fantasy IV (known as Final Fantasy II in the US) may have originally been made for the SNES way back in 1991, but the game seriously deserved a remake for a new generation of players. Square Enix did just that. The HD update offers newly developed 3D graphics and new added content, and not only brings two generations of Final Fantasy fans together, but also cements FF4 in the memory books as one of the best RPGs ever. Final Fantasy IV isn't the only SNES game to be ported over to the Nintendo DS Kirby Super Star is an excellent choice for a dual-screen game, and brings the epic Kirby adventure to your pocket. Of course, this isn't a complete copy of the original game it also features things like new modes such as Meta Knight Ultra and Revenge of the King. Sure, you could argue that Super Star Ultra isn't as exciting as Kirby Canvas Curse, but as a short and sweet adventure game, Super Star Ultra isn't one to miss out on, especially if you're a Kirby fan.

Philips SHB9850NC review: Verdict Overall, then, I’m a big fan of the Philips SHB9850NC. They’re stuffed with features, they’re very comfortable, and they fold up nice and small. Sound quality can’t match the best wired headphones at this price, and the noise cancelling takes the edge off the background noise rather than completely deadening it, but for the price, these cans are a very good buy indeed. We understand being in front of a camera can make you freeze up, but shouldn't she be used to it by now?! On Monday, Big Fan , ABC 's new trivia show that pits celebs against fans to answer questions about themselves, featured the ALWAYS AH-Mazing Kim Kardashian West . Related: Kim, Kendall, & Kylie Get Glammed Up For Their Ocean's Eight Cameo In NYC! We loved seeing all the HIGHlarious moments of Kim completely embarrassing herself! Not only did the 36-year-old NOT know her engagement ring's carat count -- she thought it was 12 (host Andy Richter revealed it was ACTUALLY 15), but Kim's "Big Fan" Colt DID know the answer... Watch Kim drop the rock (below)! If that wasn't bad enough, the KUWTK star ended up losing to Colt 2 -7 after he answered questions regarding the name of Kim's single ( Turn It Up ) and where she had her 14 birthday ( Michael Jackson 's Neverland Ranch -- omg how do you forget that??).
