You Know I Love to Go There... This week, I'm playing relationship guru—more specifically, IKEA relationship guru. First, the format is still in its relative infancy compared to the likes of SMS and MMS, the traditional venues for basic text and picture messaging, respectively. Despite 27 different providers and device manufacturers - to include Sprint, Deutsche Telekom, Rogers, and Globe - joining in on Google's RCS efforts, big names like Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T were conspicuously missing from Google's news announcement. This is likely, as noted by Android Police , because these larger service providers have their own take on RCS messaging services that could be seen as stepping on Google's toes, or vice-versa. Additionally, concerns have arisen about how adding "smart" features to texting - especially on an platform like Android - could be seen as a possible security hazard, according to Recode . It will take some time to see how Android Messages pans out for telecom companies and customers alike, though those running an Android phone from almost every major manufacturer - ranging from HTC to Motorola to LG to even Google's Pixel - will be capable of preloading the new app starting today.

The study should be complete in about a month, Gerstenmaier said. During the call, he and NASA's lead manager for the SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft, Bill Hill, provided some additional information about the mission. It will fly just two astronauts, instead of four or six, on an eight- or nine-day mission into lunar orbit and back. The flight plan will also include multiple opportunities to return to Earth earlier if some unexpected problem occurs. Read 7 remaining paragraphs | Comments

The policy I have in mind is for Israel to say and mean that all the gains of the 1967 war will be given up for real peacerecognition, open frontiers, trade, guarantees for peace, and for Israel to say it will talk to any parties to the dispute face to face to achieve such a settlement. There are many arguments to be made in favor of such a policy: while most of the world seemed to accept the 1967 frontiers as legitimate (they had, after all, lasted almost 20 years), none of it accepts the present frontiers as permanent; that some of the parties on the Arab side and in time, perhaps most, might be willing to accept the 1967 borders as permanent, but none will ever accept the present frontiers as permanent, or any frontiers that include part of the 1967 conquests; and that Israel needs most of all in the world, peace based on legitimacy.

The tips themselves include everything from working with fractions, to unlinking a pivot table from its source data, to spreadsheet protection FAQs. The Downloads tab is another particularly helpful section of Walkenbach's site, where he's added free, ungated download links to files he created, like free Excel workbooks and add-ins. For example, there's one Excel workbook available for download that gives examples of custom number formats, which you can play with and tweak on your own time, and get familiar with them without having to start from scratch. 3) About.com's Spreadsheets Page Price: Free Many of you are likely familiar with the content website About.com , but did you know it has its own spreadsheets subdomain -- much of which is devoted to Excel? There are likely thousands of instruction sets on that site, most of which are illustrated, how-to posts.

Or you can opt for the Core i7 model, which doubles up the memory and storage (16GB/512GB) plus it adds a touchscreen. Battery life is 15.2 hours for the former and 12.5 hours for the beefier model, and pricing is $1,199 (around 960, AU$1,560) and $1,699 (around 1,360, AU$2,210) respectively. Other noteworthy points across all models include the presence of a USB-C port, a backlit keyboard, and a "daylight mode" to make the screen brighter and more easily visible outside though, the latter isnt present on the largest model. You can purchase these notebooks at retailers across the US right now, including the likes of Amazon, Frys, B&H, Microcenter and Costco. However, we're awaiting information on availability in the UK and Australia, and will update this story once we hear back. Will the new LG gram make it onto our 15 best laptops list?

Isn't There Something About Rebates? You've probably read that credit card points and miles aren't taxable, as they are just rebates. Points and miles from credit cards have long avoided scrutiny by the Internal Revenue Service. However, there's no law supporting the non-taxation of miles/points from credit cards. The only way the tax law addresses miles/points is Announcement 2002-18 which says that the IRS will “not assert that any taxpayer has understated his federal tax liability by reason of the receipt or personal use of frequent flyer miles or other in-kind promotional benefits attributable to the taxpayer’s business or official travel.” That's really narrowly defined to just include miles earned from business/official travel. Credit cards aren't addressed at all. Many argue that rewards from credit cards are nontaxable as they're simply a rebate of amounts spent.

The argument is always the same: Israel is the victim of international persecution as the “Jew among nations.” The circle of persecutors has been expanded beyond 60s radicals to include the UN and Third World nations, which condemned Zionism as racism in the 70s, and to the mainstream media in the 80s, for broadcasts of Israeli brutality in Lebanon and during the First Intifada. New accusations of new anti-Semitism started targeting human rights groups and the Nobel Peace Prize in the 90s. The term became capacious enough to include Jewish critics of Israel, who had once been considered merelyself-hating.” Since 2001, definers of the new anti-Semitism have circulated anti-Muslim stereotypes of “Islamofascists” who purportedly fuse anti-Semitism with Anti-Americanism. This “new anti-Semitism,” according to its definers, is immutable. They no longer understand it as a prejudice that can be educated away, a stereotype that can be challenged, or discrimination that can be remedied by law— the ADL approach to anti-Semitism in the 40s and 50s.
