Inauguration Day is tomorrow, and it has us thinking—what objects will our newest President be remembered for post-term? To get a better idea of what will make a lasting impact, we took a look at some highlights from the New York Historical Society's vast collection of political artifacts matched up against their modern day Trump comparisons. Fashion Dwight D. Eisenhower Campaign Dress, 1952-1956 Make style great again. Please. While the 'Make America Great Again' slogan is now iconic, this ill-fitting t-shirt's simple design just doesn't cut it when compared to the cool printed Eisenhower Campaign Dress. Political Pins Carry On With Roosevelt Button, 1940 Protest pins by Sagmeister Walsh. Political pins are probably one of the easiest and most popular ways to show support for your candidate of choice. This election, instead of showing support, many served as a form of protest.

This is absolutely incredible!! Just days before Donald Trump 's inauguration on January 20, LGBTQ activists WERK For Peace announced their plans to host a "Queer Dance Party" in front of VP-elect Mike Pence 's house in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The party, which will be held TONIGHT (January 18) at 6 p.m. EST, is in protest to Pence's "homo/transphobic" views and policies . The 57-year-old has previously expressed support of gay conversion therapy as a "cure" for LGBTQ-identifying people. Related: Mike Is 100% Anti-LGBT! To make this peaceful protest even better, the organizers of the bash have been hilariously referring to the politician as "Daddy" in their posts about the event. We can't think of a better moniker for our next VP! Not to mention the group intends to leave behind "biodegradable glitter and rainbow paraphernalia" in their wake! Ch-ch-check out the full announcement (below)! "The homo/transphobic Mike Pence has graciously invited us to shake our booties and bodies in front of/around his house in Chevy Chase.

It is very possible to have too much of a good thing especially when that good thing is squirrel paraphernalia. Reddit user Yegend misguidedly told his friend that squirrels were his favorite animal, and it appears he has regretted that admission every December 25th since. He posted a hilarious picture of himself Wednesday, modeling some extremely unfortunate Christmas gifts he's received from one friend over the years. Chaayos, which has been four years in operation, will focus on making the culture of the company very strong. “In today’s world, anyone can acquire the same technology, infrastructure and paraphernalia to set up a competing business. But it is only the right talent that will make the difference for Chaayos,” said CEO Nitin Saluja. PolicyBazaar will also look to sift out now redundant employees. “People hit a point where they must either grow to the next level or bow out. We need fresh ideas and a lot of restructuring. We have a 12-18 month approach for this. In some cases, when some people arent able to make a change within that period, we have to replace them,” said Yashish Dahiya, CEO of PolicyBazaar. At Treebo Hotels, one of the main strategies will be to drive better connectivity, as the company is in the process of growing its workforce and reach across cities.

Christmas has only just come and gone, and already some shops are starting to stock Easter eggs and other Easter paraphernalia. While Christmas is always celebrated on the same day in the UK, Easter tends to move around, taking place on any Sunday between late-March and late-April. But why is this?Put simply, it's a legacy of the early Christian church.Easter Sunday is when Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who was crucified by the Romans on Good Friday two days earlier and...

Nana Akufo-Addo is to be sworn in as Ghana's new president on Saturday after beating incumbent leader John Dramani Mahama in elections last month. The 72-year-old former human rights lawyer will take the oath of office at a ceremony in Independence Square in central Accra before more than 6,000 guests and members of the public. Some 11 heads of state from across Africa are expected to attend, as well as the outgoing president, and former leaders John Rawlings and John Kufuor. Police in the capital have vowed to enforce tight security during the inauguration, with major roads in and around the venue cordoned off. Traders have already set up their stalls nearby hoping to cash in on the ceremony by selling Ghana flags and paraphernalia from Akufo-Addo's New Patriotic Party. Akufo-Addo's electoral victory -- and the peaceful transition of power -- underlined Ghana's position as a beacon of stability in an often turbulent region.

HUMAN faeces and drug paraphernalia have been removed as part of the £2,000 clean-up of five tonnes of waste left behind by so-called Tent Town in Scunthorpe. The clean-up also included the removing of tents, bedding, furniture and food waste. Tent Town was set up in Scunthorpe town centre, close to the bus station, to raise awareness of homelessness and to force North Lincolnshire Council to address the problem, after organisers claimed they weren't doing...

" This would be a smaller airship "that is configured to transport inbound items (e.g., UAVs, inventory, workers, supplies, fuel) to the AFC and retrieve outbound items (e.g., overstock inventory, transshipments, workers, waste) from the AFC." As crazy as this plan sounds, the patent filing makes a lot of good points as to why it should be implemented. The airship isn't tethered to a fixed location so can float around as needed or to avoid inclement weather. The company also envisions stocking them up over "temporal events" like football games, where they'd be loaded up with relevant product (sports paraphernalia, food products). And with the airship system, "items may be delivered within minutes of a user placing an order." Ironic things I'd like to order from an AFC: Led Zeppelin's eponymous first album, a book on the Hindenburg disaster and of course, a drone.

MALACCA: The Malacca Islamic Religious Department (JAIM) detained 30 people aged 21 to 56 years, including two married women, for alleged close proximity at hotels and massage parlours in an operation from 11.30pm last night. JAIM Enforcement Division principal assistant director Rahimin Bani said nine men were detained at four massage joints while 21 others (10 men and 11 women) were caught at seven budget hotels in Melaka Tengah. "Two men and a woman were detained in a hotel room in Bandar Hilir while a couple was nabbed in a hotel room in Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho with drug believed to be syabu," he told reporters after the five-hour integrated anti-vice operation here, today. "The National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) also seized paraphernalia believed to have been used for processing drugs at the hotel room in Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho." He reminded the two married women to be mindful of their behaviour and avoid close proximity which they could use as an excuse to demand for divorce. — Bernama
